“I have to compliment the staff, in particular the kindest lady on the front desk whose service was the highlight of our trip after our second hotel fell through, she allowed us to extend our stay in their last remaining room which saved our holiday. There are many different beaches , one more beautiful than the other. The pools are enchanting. Food delicious fresh , varied and for any taste. “This hotel is not 4 Stars standard, I stayed in 3 Stars which was better than this. To start off the room is very small, the bed is so hard, they offer 1 skinny pillow, and there are a lot of bugs in the room. The toilet is old old-fashioned, low water pressure in the shower which has mould on the floor, there is a terrible smell coming back from the pipes, and the hairdryer is absolutely waste, never seen anything like it. The hotel doesn’t offer ironing for “safety reason”, but offer an ironing service, as if we will pay for 20kg of luggage to be ironed. The only thing that saves this hotel is the staff, they are very friendly, kind and always so helpful, except a manager during the breakfast that kept giving out to the waitress’ team. The housekeeping was also very good. To finish off, the swimming pool is so so so salty, that I tried to swimming for 10 min and my eyes and mouth were badly affected. The beach on front is ok, but not the best either.”

However, two drawbacks: (1) some rooms are noisy due to the road noise, (2) breakfast is not too well organised, (3) pool closes super early at 7pm. However, good enough for a few days in the area, and reception is very keen and kind. Hence the 4 stars. Just improve on some of these points!”

“Hotel L'Esagono is absolutely incredible. Sitting a few meters from the gorgeous blue Tyrrhenian Sea it has all the amenities required for your stay. An awesome breakfast, great cafe, bookings for local tours, spa treatments, a swimming pool, a five star beach, and breathtaking dinner location with local elegant cuisine. The town of San Teodoro is 10 minutes away walking which has a great evening market and lots of good spots to shop and eat. Everyone was so friendly, and the water is the bluest water in the world. “My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon, and we were extremely disappointed and we DO NOT recommend this hotel for anyone. 1. DIRTY ROOMS: The hotel appeared to be outdated and in dire need of renovation (the online pictures were extremely deceiving). The room we were provided was not only unsanitary but also lacked the basic comforts one would expect during such a special occasion. It was disheartening to witness the neglect apparent in the overall condition of the hotel. 3. EXTREMELY LOUD: the incessant noise from the events hosted by the hotel permeated every corner of the premises, making it impossible for us to sleep at night (noise continued until 1-3 AM), In light of these circumstances, we approached the hotel staff, expressing our dissatisfaction and requesting to cut our stay short. Despite our valid concerns, we were met with indifference and unhelpfulness. We asked for a refund for the nights we were leaving early, the staff responded extremely rudely and refused to rectify the situation. . This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever encountered, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“We’ve had a wonderful time at this resort. There is one beautiful big pool and three smaller (infinity) pools. The pools were some of the best I’ve seen. You can see the ocean and it’s just a 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach with shallow waters and clean sand. Also suited for children. Sometimes sea grass wash up to shore, but not troublesome. As the beach is mainly sand, snorkelling is not spectacular, but a 10 minute walk to the rocks on the right (when you are facing the ocean) snorkelling is beautiful in this area. The rooms were fine. Sardinian style decoration and maybe a bit dated, but comfortable and clean. Every room has a nice terras. Also the resort has beautiful landscaping. The bed was fine and we’ve had an extra bed and baby bed put into the room for our kids (baby bed for additional payment). There was a mini fridge. There was animation, but all the information was in Italian. The resort is less fitted for foreign tourist. Reception and bar personal spoke a bit English and German. The food was good. There were 3 main meals in the restaurant. 7.30 till 10 o’clock breakfast with croissants, eggs, sausage, cakes and more. 12.45 till 14.00 lunch with all kinds of salads, pasta, fish and meat. Diner was available from 19.45 p.m. with lots of choice of food en authentic Italian dishes. There was a central bar where coffee/thea, orange juice, Pepsi cola (not light), orange soda was available. There was also a pool bar with some sandwiches, slides of pizza/focaccia and also drinks from tap were available all day. Drinks were a bit minimalistic but okay. Information at arrival was very brief, an information letter would have been nice. We worked out how everything worked during the week. Beach towels were available at the reception. Budoni was a walk of 10 minutes I estimate, with restaurants and bars. I would recommend a car rental (Leasys, at the airport of Olbia was very good), because there is not much public transport. Sardinia is a very, very beautiful place with stunning bays and mountains, with lots of trees. We were surprised with the beauty of the island.”

“In July I spent my holiday in Delphina Cala di Lepre resort, 10 days during Caronte hot temperature. Despite the hot I really enjoy my holiday, it was a wonderful time and this happened specially because the perfect hotellerie service offered in the resort. The food was a perfect mix of italian dishes cooked with expert knowledge (the fish was superb!!), the service offered at the restaurant exceeded, in my opinion, the 4 stars being able to reach higher levels. The dishes prepared near the pool were very tasty (I recommend the special non-alcoholic fruit cocktails prepared by the barman, really refreshing!!!). The place where the resort is located is excellent: although there is an always punctual shuttle service, having a sedentary job, I really appreciated the walks in the typical Sardinian greenery, the sea was azul color, always clean, the beach was well equipped and sometimes there were two lifeguards attentive and prepared to meet the needs. There was good WI-FI service for all the resort, although it slows down for few seconds. The courtesy and kindness I received from all the staff of the resort made my holiday exceptional and I thank you very much for all the smiles I have received; as well my wife got the same positive vibes from this holiday at the Cala di Lepre resort and in our next trip to Sardinia we will definitely choose this place, they are professionals in the hotel industry and I strongly recommend spending a vacation in Delphina for all who want to discover the world of Gallura, an unforgettable place in the world!
