“I recently stayed at this hotel in Perth and found it to be a mixed bag. On the plus side, the location is excellent and the room is spacious. One of the standout features for me was the convenient parking—just a short walk to the check-in lobby. Additionally, the property is all on one level, making it easy to get to the room without having to lug suitcases up or down stairs. However, there were a few drawbacks that detracted from the overall experience. The lighting in the room is dim, which can be a bit frustrating if you’re trying to read. The soundproofing leaves much to be desired; I was easily disturbed by the noise from the in-house restaurant until late at night, as well as by early morning vacuuming. The sound from the TV in the next room was also audible. Lastly, the water heater was quite erratic, with hot water suddenly turning cold. If you’re a light sleeper or need stable water temperature, this might not be the place for you. However, if convenience and accessibility are your primary concerns, this hotel has that covered.”

“This place is great for country people visiting the city. There always been heaps of friendly faces, kids included, that seem to understand how “being in Perth” isn’t exactly the same as “being on holiday” elsewhere. The playgrounds, pool, cafe, and easy access to the freeway are superb. Couldn’t think of anything to add that feels like it’s missing. But the maintenance on the place? JFC, I don’t get it. We stayed in a chalet, which was pretty good, but the air conditioner was literally growing carpets of mould. Notified the front desk and they did send someone to clean it up, but it was a dismal job (before and after photos attached). With the seemingly endless amount of people staying here I would have hoped the park had the income to afford much better attention to basic cleaning. If we had a camper van or tent this would have been an absolutely awesome place to stay, but we didn’t, so… it really tempered our overall experience of the place. Thankfully there was heaps to do so we didn’t stay inside much. YUCK!”

Incredibly happy with our stay. It’s located close to all the regular fun spots (especially kid friendly ones) down south. Great and easy walking trail to take the kids on for kangaroo spotting and photos.”

It had a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms which both seem to be freshly renovated, the beds are super comfortable and the pools are a nice place to relax. It has an overall nice atmosphere and there are many things to do in the Busselton area. Very nice stay!”

We drove all day from Perth and were tired and wanted to get into our room and relax. Jacquie was on desk and wasn't that friendly to my boyfriend and was asking for credit card details which was already used for the booking. She was also patronising when we told her about toilet not flushing properly and told my boyfriend how much toilet paper to use. The room was spacious and we were grateful for the comfy bed, air-conditioning and ensure bathroom and mini kitchen and fridge. We also enjoyed the pool and BBQ facilities. When you pay lots of money to stay in a resort, you should be treated with consideration and respect.”

“Stayed here back in the 90's when it was Kalbarri Beach Resort. Very dated. Should probably be knocked down as it's quite run down. Photos are very different to what you see when you get here. Cracks in concrete on the balcony with scaffolding pipes holding "things together". Very noisy so if you're looking for quiet, I wouldn't stay here and there's no management on site. Room was musty and shower fan hadn't been cleaned since the 90's and didn't work. Positives - facility is close to town centre and walking distance to everything you need.”
