You are charged a daily fee for using the pool which was off putting, as the nightly cost is already high. The bar food was really delicious, better than the restaurant food menu. Overlooking the beach, yachts, sunset, and mountains was beautiful and made it an excellent dining experience. We had cocktails to go with our starters. We then had salmon and steak for dinner with a delicious rosé. The staff was friendly and kind when we had questions. They spoke English well. We loved watching the sun go down as we were served each course. When it came to dessert time we relaxed with cheesecake and sorbet with espresso. Nonetheless our rating is 1 star because of the bad experience had at the Lou Bistrot. We were thrown out with 2 little kids at lunch time of a very quiet day because we didn't reserve a table (my activity ended at 12.30am, so obviously lunch time - so if I need to book a table for lunch - please tell this to me when I book! don't throw me away if I don't reserve. Loud air conditioning in the room that didn’t quite cool it enough, no smart television facilities which makes having a night in for a movie impossible. Location makes having a car essential. Parking is very convenient with a complimentary valet service All up a lovely experience”

The grounds of the hotel were impeccably maintained, providing endless photo opportunities for the couple and their guests. The indoor spaces were equally impressive, with elegant decor and plenty of natural light streaming in through large windows. One of the standout features of this hotel/wedding venue was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that the couple and their guests were well taken care of throughout the day. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly made a difference in capturing the magic of the wedding day. The ceremony took place in the garden of the Villa with the view of Azure Coast. The reception was help in their inner ballroom which was very romantic and intimate! We would absolutely recommend Villa Belrose to any couple look for a picturesque setting to say “I do”. “Visit date: July - August 2023 I recently stayed at La Bastide de Biot, and it was unforgettable and just amazing! The staff were kind, the breakfast was great and every facility was fantastic. Firstly, the staff were happy to explain every question I had. They helped with all our requests and gave us free water, wine and orange juice. Every time we walked by, they smiled at us and waved at us, and even chatted with us occasionally! Secondly, each room was provided with enough space and facilities. The toilets were clean, bed was made, and everything was tidy. The balcony was extremely helpful for washing clothes (bottom floor rooms also had one). Thirdly, the swimming pool was clean and toys, float boards and balls were provided. The water temperature was perfect, and the sun Ed’s were super comfortable. The table tennis and table football tables were fine, and rarely used by guests. Fourthly, the car park was great. The gate had a password after 8pm, for safety. Only guests knew the password. Disabled car spaces were provided if needed. Finally, the breakfast was brilliant. Although there wasn’t much options, the ones present were great. From continental, to French, they were all present. It was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. Will come back soon! Thank you to all La Bastide de Biot staff!”

Specially appreciated there are a lot of hand crafted details in the interior: the bathroom with curved divider wall and mirror frame, the wooden panels to shade the lights from the window, the metal handles…enjoyed the view on our terrace. Breakfast has limited choices but good quality. Friendly staff. Lovely horses! Pros: - The bed is large, 180cm. And comfortable. - There is a tower heating in the bathroom, super handy! - Mosquito net on all windows, can sleep with open window to feel the wind, AC wasn’t necessary. (AC is Fujitsu, and TV is Toshiba, good brands) - Kettle in the room - Clean, deep swimming pool - The restaurant building (authentic style) has a lounge to play chess Cons: - We found one used sock(pantie?) under the bed - The sitting area in reception and restrooms are full of dirts and spider nets - Could hear motorbikes noise from the road in the room - Commercial/ unauthentic toilette products (made in Germany?!) will hope to have Provence soap instead. Also those small bottles are not “sustainable” as the hotel categories itself - Small packages of commercial brand marmalade on breakfast table, will wish to have some artisan ones from the region instead.”
