“I had an interesting experience at Jelen Resort & Spa. I stayed for 2 nights from Monday to Wednesday. I was travelling with my sister and we had seperate rooms. We arrived at 2PM. There were quite a few problems during my stay. The balconies are very open there is no privacy at all! We were hungry but found out the resturant is closed on Mondays so we went to eat elsewhere. We came back and felt like going bowling or having a drink but that was also closed. It was raining outside so really there was nothing to do except to sit in our rooms. We then found out the Wifi wasnt working. We told the receptionist she was extremely rude. She said they would look into it. We also nicely suggested that the hotel should let guests know that everything is closed on Mondays and that we would have chosen a different day to stay. She was rude and said we should have checked their website. We asked to speak to the manager who also wasnt that friendly and said its not their responsibility but at least she said we could have a drink at the bar which was apparently closed but they let us have a drink as they were teaching their staff to make drinks. After we went to our rooms and still no Wifi. There were about 10 mosquitos in my room and like 5 spiders i know they can't control the mosquitos but they could at least get rid of the spiders as it looked like they had been there for a few days as there was quite a lot of cobwebs. They next day we spent the whole day there on the lake it was nice. We had dinner at the resturant the food was good. Everything was great on Tuesday. But then in the afternoon the Wifi was still not working so we complained again but again the receptionist was extremely rude and just didnt care! When we were checking out on Wednesday we mentioned the Wifi problem again. The manager left a voucher of very little value and only gave us one. I mentioned that we were in two seperate rooms so really we should receive 2 vouchers and that it didnt matter that it was my sister in the other room. The receptionist showed no emotion and was just super rude Ive never ever been talked to in the way that she talked to me. Horrible customer service. Seriously they should really train their receptionist staff. The staff are all super young probably their first job after finsihing school. Its not hard to be nice and show respect to your guests. I was very nice when expressing my concerns. It wasnt like i was complaining for no reason. If my reservation said there will be Wifi then Wifi should be provided. I will probably never come back to this hotel. I know its new but they really should value their guests especially when they have just opened. Overall the place is nice to relax but the people are just horrible especially the one girl at reception.”

“It's great as long as the expectations are clear - it's not a 5-star hotel but an actual old-school Polish resort. Our room was nice and clean, the staff was polite and helpful, they are dog friendly but keep in mind there are lots of cats on premises. There's also an option to rent a small cabin. One more star for delicious breakfasts.”

“We stayed for 3 nights and overall impression from the hotel is positive, however, there are few important things which made me to drop the rate. (+) breakfast was amazing, very good choices and food was really good quality. Each day we had different options to choose from. Spa zone was also very nice. It is for sure a great advantage of this hotel to have it. 2 saunas and 1 jacuzzi. Lady who is responding to the phone calls was also very friendly and supportive. Wi-Fi was working very well. Hotel provides wind protection fence for the beach. (+/-) hotel is located in the super center of the city. It is very close to the beach, however, it depends what you are looking for as overall area around is very noise and overcrowded so if you want have party time or be in the centre of the city this is a good place. (-) rooms look much better on photos vs the reality. On windows there is no protection from insects, that is why when we entered our room we faced quite some of them already there. Right next to the bed there was a fridge instead of the shelf which was noise and we had to turn it off. During whole our stay no one even asked us and there where no option to ask anyone to change our towels/clean the room. Ventilation in the room/bathroom is not the best one and there were no heating in the bathroom which ended up that our swimming suits as well as towels could not get dry at all during the 2 days as room/bathroom constantly had wet air. There is only soap for hands on the wash basin and nothing in the shower so keep it in mind while going. It is not a must for hotel to have, but for a price we payed would be good to have.”
