“One of the best hotels to stay in langkawi . Been visiting for 5 yrs , every year now and I find it the best in terms of cleanliness and hospitality. Breakfast is good . It’s near the airport . The beach is not that far , but you do need transport . I usually hire a car to drive around . Makes it easier to have your own transport while on this island if you want to fully explore it . Kudos to the staff for maintaining the property very well ! I don’t know why people find it difficult to spot the stairs to the pool at the roof top . It’s easy to find and the property design is pretty simple . The property has a link bridge between the two main buildings .”

“Beautiful place to stay. Room basic Estate 5 but loved the stay, but everything you needed. Toilet was an issue but mentioned at.rwxeptuon and it was sort straight away. Could not ask more.We had a family wedding to come to at the hotel. The staff are amazing nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly recommend it for any wedding venue or just a stay. Irene to the manager was just great, so hard working. Thanks to all the team at Temple tree which totally made our stay.”

“I recently stayed at the hotel on Cenang Beach, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it for various reasons. The only positive aspect was its location on Cenang Beach. However, our experience was marred by several issues. Firstly, the lack of soundproofing in the rooms was a significant problem. We were assigned a room next to a family, and the thin walls made it impossible to sleep due to constant noise from the corridor, conversations, and doors slamming. This disrupted our sleep every day. Additionally, the room itself left much to be desired. The pillows were old with visible stains, and the low-quality mattress had spring coils that caused discomfort and back pain. The hotel did not provide basic amenities like toothbrushes, and there was only one mounted shower gel in the bathroom. Despite efforts to clean the room, the overall condition of the hotel seemed worn down. The pillows, mattress, and bedsheets were in need of a major makeover. Considering these issues, I would not recommend this hotel, especially for foreign visitors. Unfortunately, I will not be returning due to the overall disappointing experience.”

“It was a nice place to spend with family doing fun activities. Got swimming pool and atv to ride. For the room, it was good. Just the bathroom, the water pressure was too slow and quite troublesome when you have to take long time for a shower. Also there were too much flies and it's a nuisance to our bbq session. Surau provided which is for me quite good and comfortable. Overall experience, it just good.”

“We had a great time at Alamanda Villas. It was exactly the accommodation we have been looking for. Best place to come down and relax. We enjoyed so much the peace and quit there and the beautiful view of the veranda of our hilltop villa that we even stayed one night longer. So we were there for 6 days and we would liked to have stayed longer. But it wasn't just the villa and its location that impressed us. Thank you very much, dear Eddy! Your are a wonderful host! Without your great assistance and helpfulness and your valuable tips, our stay would only have been half as nice. Next time we'll be happy to come back!”

“This is the first time I came to this hotel and it is very beautiful. The atmosphere in the hotel is very calm and quiet. The hotel employees are also polite and very helpful. Breakfast is also good although not too many choices. It's just that the room is a bit small and maybe it's suitable for couples only and less suitable for those who have many children. “The view of the resort was breathtaking. There's a private beach where you can go swimming. The furniture inside the bedroom is made from real hardwood which is really amazing. The refrigerator provided really helped us to chill the chocolate we bought. There's also a hammock where you can enjoy the wind of the beach. During night, you can have ur lunch at the restaurant nearby open at 1830. Overall the resort is really clean with workers daily care.”

The rest of the hotel and staff are great.The pool is quite small would be my only negative- however this did not impact our stay as we spent a lot of time at the beach which is less than 10mins walk away. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby so overall a very good hotel and location.”

“In terms of value for money this is 6*. The rooms are basic but okay; we had a basic, rear facing room. The rooms looking onto the beach looked better. The location has several plusses. Close to the airport makes it a great airport hotel. It's a small airport with few flights so the planes didn't disturb us. The beach to the front of the hotel is quite pretty and has good views out to sea. Trips will pick up from the hotel and there is a decent enough hotel restaurant (with a strange, English style menu!). There are also a few local restaurant stalls nearby. The pool is fantastic. Narrow but 30m long and clean. You do not normally get a pool this good in this price range. This is not a fancy hotel, but it's perfectly okay, and for the price, it's fabulous.”
