“We really liked this resort. It felt very safe. Was close to everything and super walkable or a short Uber ride away. We wanted to go in the hot-tub but it wasn’t heated enough when we were there in December, maybe lukewarm bath water. We would stay here again. Beware There is a lot of road noise because a highway is right above the resort.”

“BLUF: I stayed at this hotel for last night with my pet and the experience was fantastic. I highly recommend it and is now my #1 choice in the future. More detailed review below. Service: The woman at the front desk was incredibly professional, pleasant to interact with, and answered all of the questions I had. Rooms: The hotel and room was clean, no issues. The bed and pillows are comfortable enough for a side sleeper (a big deal for those of you who commonly wake up with back pain when staying at a hotel.) Location: I didn’t stay long enough to explore the location, but there are gas stations and, most importantly, a Raising Canes a few minutes away from the hotel. I didn’t experience any safety issues both in and outside of the hotel.”

“This is my least favorite port to embark a cruise line thus far here in the United States. The parking and traffic flow is a nightmare. It is super congested and they have different people directing traffic that gives you total opposite advice on where to go and where to park. We ended up having to drive around multiple times before we were given solid direction. Then after you finally get on the ship you have hours of cruising dark disgusting smelly waters of the Mississippi before you get to sea. I would recommend not utilizing this port as there are several ports around the south east that have a much more desirable experience than this port. This was a one and done visit for us ever using this port again. Do yourself a favor and choose a different location to port out of. I only have my own experiences and if you feel otherwise to each their own.”

“Once I was in my room the satellite would not connect and the room phone was not working. I had to use my cell phone to call down about the two issues. Was told maintenance would be at my door within 5 minutes. 15 minutes later (I hadn’t unpacked yet till the satellite issue was resolved and phone) so I called from my cell phone again she said that she would go get him. He knocked in the door mumbled something about the satellite he jiggles the wires it then went through a reboot. He stated the phone would need to be serviced through an outside company? I went to the front desk the next morning spoke with a front desk associate expressed that I have Acute asthma that I would feel safer with a working phone. I stayed from Monday - Friday. I checked the phone Friday morning to see if it was working and it was. So why did I not have a working phone. Also at one time there was a microwave and fridge during past stays at this property. I asked at the front desk wasn’t told when I checked it that the rooms were being renovated and that the microwave and fridge were moved to the “city” view. The other side was going through renovation. I asked if the fridge and microwave were being removed for the future and she said yes. The rooms looked so bare not even an alarm clock. This is a Hilton property? I’ve stayed at this property many years and this time I could see the decline in the hotel. I will not be back as a lifetime Diamond member. I was not treated as a loyal Hilton Honors guest. Plus my health is not important to have a working phone. By the way I checked the phone before I left the room there was a dial tone for the first time.”

“I am pleased to review this Residence Inn for my 2 night stay. First, the staff I interacted with, at reception and the breakfast area, were friendly, welcoming, and helpful! The grounds are well maintained and pleasant. As another reviewer noted, the rooms are located across two buildings and do have more of an "apartment" feel than a hotel feel. I found this to be an excellent arrangement, as I experienced zero noise from my neighboring rooms or the room above. My one bedroom "suite" was comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. I did not use the kitchenette, other than the fridge for storing my beverages, but I can see this would be useful for someone wanting to take advantage of this amenity. I found the breakfast to be pleasing, with fruit, oatmeal, grits, scrambled eggs, bacon, little quiche cups, and a variety of bread options available. My room, bathroom, and the entire facility I found to be very clean. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting New Orleans.”

“Obsessed with this hotel. The coolest most unique , major vibes 4 star I’ve ever come across in America. There is something to look at & admire in every nook. You can tell design & aesthetics were prioritized. It felt like an experience <3 wish we could have stayed longer. The cafe at the lobby was so nice to grab coffee after a great workout in the AMAZING gym. Like brand new equipment with VIEWS. Literally one of the best hotels ive come across in America. Best part is it’s major dog friendly!”

“This hotel is located in a good part of town. You have near by restaurants and fun activities. The hotel staff was polite. The room was clean no odor. I enjoyed my stay. Oh and they had a Starbucks that made that was the icing on the cake for me, lol. My only recommendation would be update the bathroom in 103 - near the shower the board is severely chipped. With an updated toilet this would be a 5 star room.”

“I’m still not sure why this place is called a “resort.” Nevertheless, the rooms are nice and spacious. The pool is really small, I wish there was a hot tub in addition to the tiny pool. The fitness center was pretty basic. The location was the best given that you’re walking distance to the French quarter and the Magazine area. I’d definitely stay again. The staff was very friendly, but it’s Ms. Sue that is the biggest asset to this location. She is a ball of joy with an infectious smile that emits beautiful, radiant energy.”

“Took the girls for a horsey ride. Been asking for a long while. Red dead redemption II will have that effect. Both are fascinated with the creature, and I was also curious to ride one. We did the 1 hour ride and it was interesting. It's hard to get the horse away from the grass.lol. it's easy to yank the leads, but your like"just let him eat for a second " I wish I could remember her name, but she was definitely a cowgirl. Nice as could be and conversated with the girls. I plan on another trip doing the 1.5hr ride. Hope to get the same guild.”

“DON'T STAY HERE! YOU MIGHT TAKE HOME ROACHES IN YOUR BAGGAGE! Roaches in the bathroom floor in the evening. Told front desk clerk and showed her pics. She said well this is Louisiana but seemed concerned and said email her pics and note and she would tell the manager and he would contact me. That was a week ago and apparently the management could not care less I spent $120 for a room crawling with roaches!!! Another reviewer here actually had a roach on the ceiling! Guess they didn't care about that either. VERY NON-HILTON-LIKE!! I had to take more time out of my busy schedule to call Hilton and get it taken care of. They were of course VERY concerned as is customary. In addition, the lobby bathrooms were out of order.”
