“We are grateful for the service we received from Shantha in the in-house restaurant. Shantha was always quick on his feet very attentive, excellent worker. We were promised a room for our driver over the phone, before we arrived at the location. However, once we reached the destination, the request was denied. I was quite upset and the staff connected me with the Manager by phone. This did not improve the situation, we did NOT receive a bed. The Manager told us that all the beds reserved for drivers were taken. The next morning we only saw one car parked outside. The Manager observing my name, asked me if I was an Indian. Not sure what this had to do with the problem I was addressing. The Manger made no effort to meet me during the 3 nights I spent at the hotel. I will not visit this hotel again after my experience with the Manager of the hotel. Always suspicious of operations where the Manager is never visible in the premises. Very disappointed.”

“An amazing property nestled in the mountains of Hantana in Kandy. My family and I spent two nights here and it was an amazing time. The view from the dining area overlooking the knuckles mountain range is pure magic. Colonial feeling that the bungalow and its suites offer is simply unmatched. The food was delicious and the highlight for me was the freshly baked bread basket that was served with every meal. They also provide various experiences with the knowledgeable and friendly naturalists who offer unique insights. The only drawback for me was the level of service. For a property of W15’s caliber, service has to be much better than what was on offer.”

“We went as a family and stayed in the royal rest suite. The location was amazing, giving a panoramic view of the village below. The suite was excellent. Had a huge space with a carpeted floor consisting of two beds and a sofa area. The children had an amazing time. The sofa area includes a large window with the best view. Room,Bathroom,Linen and Towels were all good and clean. We went for the Ala carte menu in which the food was good and tasty and reasonably priced. Hotel has a well-maintained small garden.Staff was friendly and very supportive. A definite value for money, a place we would surely visit again.”
