“I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Lenkerhof ,and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its dreamland location, offering breathtaking panoramas and refreshing, crisp mountain air. It was a true haven for relaxation and tranquility. The staff at Hotel Lenkerhof went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of exceptional. Their warm and welcoming nature made me feel right at home from the very beginning. Their attentiveness to every detail and genuine care for their guests truly set them apart. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible culinary experience. The hotel boasts two highly acclaimed gourmet restaurants, each earning prestigious Gault Millau points. Restaurant Spectacolo, with its impressive 17 Gault Millau points, showcased innovative combinations that delighted my taste buds. The culinary masterpieces created there were a true testament to the skill and creativity of Stefan Lünse, Karl Bormann and his team. Restaurant Ou De Vie, with its 15 Gault Millau points, served a delightful fusion of French-Italian Riviera flavors that left me craving for more, thank you Chef Tanos! The spa facilities at Hotel Lenkerhof were simply breathtaking. With stunning views overlooking the picturesque town of Lenk and the majestic mountains, it provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. The range of treatments and amenities available catered to every need, ensuring a truly indulgent experience. All in all, Hotel Lenkerhof has rightfully earned its place as my favorite hotel in Berner Oberland. From the idyllic location to the warm and attentive staff, the outstanding culinary offerings, and the serene spa, it truly offers an unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and eagerly look forward to my next visit.”

“Only stopped there for dinner after a long day hiking. Since it was hunting season, they had venison on the menu. It was so delicious, well prepared and well presented. The restaurant area has been newly renovated it seems. The staff was super nice. I highly recommend it. We didn't stay there overnight but when we inquired about the room prices after such a wonderful dinner, they told us they had no vacancy and we needed to book well in advance. That says a lot”

“The hotel is very central but the accommodations are very old , I’m speaking to the heating systems in the rooms !! Had a very cold night and morning and it’s Dec 28 you would hope to be warm !! When I complained the manager was very not her fault and give it time for the heater to warm up !! After a few hours service person came by with a space heater also making you feel like you are putting them out and super rude ! Save your money , there are a lot more modern hotels near by , the street it’s filled with them and they might appreciate your business more !! Btw I am renting 3 rooms for 3 nights and I wished I was somewhere else !!”

“It’s right on the banks of lake Thun with gorgeous views. I loved spending the summer evenings with my family looking at the alps from the backyard of this hotel. The wellness area is super cool with various saunas but the jacuzzi is the best there. And, compared to other Swiss hotels people here are actually hospitable! Only reason to not give 5 stars is that there could be some more variety in the breakfast.”

We had a great dinner in a relaxed atmosphere: that is the advantage of being in the mountains. Food was slightly elaborate and well prepared. Rooms are simple, with minimalist design and good taste, very clean, and offer everything you need. Breakfast was again very simple, but everything of good quality. Service was at all times very professional, friendly and competent. I will gladly return, either privately, or possibly when organizing a business retreat.”
