“I called to see about getting a place to stay for one night. Well, I didn't realize that they don't have a hotel. Maybe it's just me but, if I had a park as big as Grand Vue, I would have a hotel. The only thing they have is cabins and they don't rent them out for one night and they were too expensive for me. It's probably a great place to go on vacation in the summer if you have the money but, not in the winter. I would get bored just sitting in a cabin when it's too cold go outside, if they had a hotel with a pool and other things to do,it would probably be worth going to if you needed a place to stay for a night.”

“We stopped after a long day driving in weather. It was a wonderful respite. Very clean and a new hotel. Staff helpful, easy to get extra pillows, etc. They also had a restaurant on site (because no one wanted to get back in a car and out in that weather to go anywhere). Restaurant was very good. It's a little hard to see how to get to it but it's there via several ways to access (we were just tired coming in during dark and rain).”

“2 stars is because the resort is in a really good location for exploring the area. Beware what cabin you rent. All are individually owned and the resort does not seem to have a standard that they must be kept to. We rented cabin 9. It was badly in need of renovation. Smells like mold / mildew, terrible bed mattress, uncomfortable furniture, stove top falling apart, drywall peeling in places, slow internet and ultra grainy cable TV. We felt more sick the longer we we were there. We left 2 days early and immediately felt better. The resort has a lot of potential, but the cabin quality is a gamble.”
