“Room was OK, bathroom a bit compact, balcony a decent size but has a concrete wall and you had to stand to look over so not able to sit and relax there, Entertainment at night was ok but entertainment staff one night had 4 going round talking to holiday makers while only one waiter was serving drinks had to wait awhile to be served. Food was good but one evening a lady came with a tablet for us to fill in what we thought of hotel, we had already had a waiter at breakfast bring us a code to scan saying give us 5 star, it all feels a bit intrusive at meal times. We was at this hotel last year and really enjoyed it, but this time it was all about them getting a good review, won't be retuning”

“The restaurant has all the tables with an incredible view to the sea and the cliffs. We ate the grilled fish, the prawns where good, some of the fish was cold, and seemed to be cooked previous to serving. Then we orderd a “Red Tuna” which was probably the worst red tuna i ever ate. It was cold and the taste wasn’t right. After that we order a chocolate cake which was amazing and a machiato. All in all the service was excellent and the staff was super kind.”

“I only ate at this restaurant and all I can say is WOW. The food was amazing! I had the pasta which is native to Matera (ask the waiter for this) and it was outstanding. My partner who is vegetarian had limited options but they went out of their way to ensure they could make something bespoke for her. Food was amazing and so was the view. I’d recommend booking before if you’d want a seat with a view. Prices were slightly higher than expected but it was definitely a premium restaurant which came with a premium price.”

“Very nice hotel with super friendly staff even in the intense mid August period. Perfect location for enjoying both sightseeing in Maratea or the beaches of Praia a mare and San Nicola. We spent only one night but we had a very good time. The only drawback we noticed was due to the cleanliness of our room and bathroom, not spotless but still ok. A good breakfast “buffet” with a nice variety on display near the pool. To keep in mind for trips in the area.”
