“Hotel needs to be refurbished. It's modelled as a English manor and the decor was nice but the hotel is seriously showing its age. I stayed in the European room and the condition of the room especially the curtain was worn out. Hotel staff was polite and nice.”

“This time, I traveled from Kansai and stayed for two nights. In the Utsunomiya-Nasu area, check out websites and reviews from various accommodation facilities such as: 1. You can stay with your dog. 2. You can eat with your dog. 3. The food looks delicious. 4. Accommodations and facilities are well-equipped. 5. You can stay alone. I decided to choose it. Where I stayed, the staff's care for dogs and the facilities were better than I expected, and I was able to fully enjoy cottage life. There was also a large dog run, a bathtub with hot spring water, and goods for dogs. Since we were staying for consecutive nights, we had different menus for dinner both times and it was delicious. In order to have a relaxing stay, I thought it would be a good idea to stay for several nights and explore the surrounding area (on the second day, I toured the Nasu area, and after checking out, I visited Nikko Chuzenji Lake and then moved to Lake Yamanaka, so I could use the time in the evening). Since it is located in the villa pension area, there are many turning points, so I used the navigation system as a reference, but I had a hard time getting there.”

“It's the best accommodation! ! ! This is my second time staying here, and it was still a good stay. The inside of the hotel and the rooms are clean and beautiful. The rice is also very delicious. Also, all the staff members are very pleasant, kind, and professional. It is a small inn overall with about 8 rooms. That's why you can relax and enjoy the courteous and heartwarming customer service. The hot springs are small, with one indoor bath and one open-air bath, but they are very well built. They have good shampoo, conditioner, cleansers, etc. (POLA, etc.), so you don't have to bring anything. We also have lotions and emulsions. You can also make reservations for aroma treatments and chiropractic care. Since it seems like the work is outsourced, it is best to make a reservation early, such as at the time of reservation, rather than on the day. Both dinner and breakfast were really delicious! I will stay again!”

“Great hotel for a golf course. Better than most. Onsen water is sulfur based and is incredible. Feels like lotion on the skin. Food was overal quite good. Price performance was excellent in March when I stayed. Mountains and golf course views are quite picturesque.”

“Mixed impressions. The hotel is very unique with all the dinosaurs around the place which start moving and roaring when you approach them. Fantastic for the kids. Also very unique is the swimming pool which we had for two hours completely alone. Unfortunately not everything is well maintained and I'm afraid that they cannot keep the pool open with just a few guests per night. The rooms were nice but very cold when you switch off the air conditioning (and we had one of the newly renewed dinosaur rooms). Dinner buffet is great with a very wide choice. Quality is not always the very best but at least you have options. Unfortunately breakfast buffet is poor, dry bread which tasted (and probably was) 3 days old, western choice very limited but also the Japanese food wasn't topnotch. But then you check out and all the dinosaurs come to life and your kid gets excited and that was worth the stay (an expensive one though).”
