“An exceptional hotel! Rarely have I enjoyed such good service. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the cable car. The walk is pleasant after a day on the slopes. There are a few bars along the way that invite you to après ski. The hotel is clean, the wellness area is great, the pool is excellent and the prices are reasonable. The breakfast is more than ample and even available until 1 pm. The in-house restaurant is almost perfect. Top selection and absolutely delicious Any time again!”

Alexandra and her team put the guests first and foremost so our every need is catered for. We stay in one of the apartments and they contain all the amenities needed for a trip away from home, and are spotless inside. I cannot recommend Rivus enough, really looking forward to returning next year!”

“Our 5 days-long stay at this hotel was satisfying, offering excellent value for money. The hotel consists of three buildings, immediately setting a grand tone. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a charming receptionist who made us feel warmly welcomed. Our room was sufficient, featuring a compact yet impressively equipped kitchenette, complete with a view of the ski slopes. Breakfast each morning was of a good standard, providing a satisfying start to our days. The hotel's leisure facilities, including a heated pool and three saunas, were great. We particularly enjoyed the tranquility, as we often found ourselves enjoying these amenities in peaceful solitude, though I can imagine they might become bustling during peak times. Additional conveniences like indoor parking and heated ski lockers greatly enhanced experience. The hotel's own car lift to the nearby cable lift is a thoughtful touch, making ski trips effortless. Its proximity to the village center was also incredibly convenient, allowing us to explore with ease. Saalbach is 10 min by car, if you would like to visit another and bit bigger ski village. What set our experience apart was the staff's eagerness to cater to our needs and attentively respond to our feedback. This level of personalized service truly made our stay great. Only thing which could be better in this area is to staff be more relaxed and be bit more helpful during breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and accommodating base for their ski holiday.”

“Beautiful holiday in Maria Alm near Salzburg. We had a really spacious, clean quadruple room facing the snowy slopes. Very comfortable and great location on the 3rd floor with a stunning view. Very kind staff, since we were Italians at dinner they offered bread only at our table. Very nice attention, very good from the Croatian lady who explained dinner times and also the menu. The chef translated the dinner into Italian for us on the menu! All inclusive with soup for lunch and soup for dinner, vegetable buffet and a single sweet dish. Last night was our favourite, a great plate of meat medallions with potato croquettes shaped like Williams pears and a mushroom sauce. Unlimited drinks! Pleasant even for those who don't like skiing. We took a trip to Salzburg and a day trip/trek on a route of about 1 hour. The Austrian mountains are very beautiful with beautiful, clean roads. Very close to the border, in 2 hours from the border you are in Maria Alm. On the outward journey we passed through Brenner/Insbruck while on the return we passed through Lienz/San Candido. The only negative thing is the vignette that despite the payment you pay an extra €11 for the return journey and €13 for the return journey.”
