“Out of all of the places I've travelled to, the experience of the stay at the Spectator tops all other hotels! We came here for a "babymoon" and they went above and beyond with a special experience for us as parents to be. The beds were comfortable, large rooms with comfortable bathrooms, the butler service was incredible, there's a quaint bar downstairs, great breakfast included every morning. The location was excellent. One thing that surprised me was that there was not a pool, but honestly it didn't matter to us because there was so much else to do.”

“Came here for a quick little Charleston vacay after the New Year. Despite previous reviews, our check-in and front desk experience was exceptional. Clean quiet rooms. Lovely lobby area. About a mile from the Ravenel Bridge. Close to grocery store and plenty of places to eat. Front desk ladies recommended Page’s Okra Grill and it was some of the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. This hotel definitely lives up to the Hilton reputation.”

“I stayed here for 5 days for a work conference. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept and rested well pretty much every night. Continental breakfast was plentiful. There were a variety of breakfast selections for everyone. The only thing I wished for was coffee available throughout the day. The front desk attendant was extremely welcoming, and one went out of her way to fix me coffee before I headed to my room to rest a bit. The location is 3 minutes from Tanger Outlets, and there are plenty of restaurants if you don't need to head downtown. I would recommend this hotel, as well as stay at this location.”

“I simply can’t say enough about how incredible our experience was at Hotel Bennett. From the moment we checked in until we left, a 5+ star experience. The bellman was so incredibly nice and helpful, housekeeping helped with a minor issue quickly and with excellent customer service, the bartender, the front desk to the gentlemen at the front assisting with retrieving our car. He even offered to call the restaurant we were heading to while waiting for our vehicle to let them know we may be a few minutes late. I was blown away. My kids, ages 8 and 15, even commented on how nice everyone was during our stay. We will be back and recommend Hotel Bennett to everyone looking to visit Charleston!!”

“Nice hotel. The rooms were spacious and vary clean. The beds are very comfortable with lamps by the bed and plugs for your or tablet. The hotel had a very beach chic look. The pool was gorgeous, surrounded by beautiful palm trees. They do have a restaurant and a window on the pool deck where you could order food or drinks, yes and even alcoholic beverages. The staff was friendly, free parking and handicap parking right in the front of the hotel. The price is great. I recommend this hotel.”

“We stayed there for one night several weeks ago, and it was the worst Hilton property in our many years of travel. The hotel front desk guy was so busy chatting with one of his friends that he barely spoke to us. We as ked a question about why the digital key wasn't working, and he blew us off. Our room looked like there had been a fight or a really big dog that damaged the wood around the bathroom door, and the window shade was all wrinkly and out if the track. We tried to fix it, so we could have privacy. The mattress was sunken down in each side (we are small people), so it was a real disappointment after traveling all day. We went back to the front desk after dinner to inquire about the digital key. This time a young lady was there and all but told us we were technically challenged! We have traveled for years using digital keys, so it was the last straw for me. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and basically unwilling to be of service. Too bad...the property is in a great location but certainly not up to Hilton standards. We stayed last week at a Marriott property in Cape Canaveral, FL. What am amazing stay! Guess we will go back to being Marriott's guests.”

“Great downtown location. Plenty of great places to dine in the area and if you familiarize yourself with the Dash Downtown Shuttle (210, 211, 213) you can travel to your downtown destinations for free. Our one bedroom, bath with walk in shower, and basic kitchen was perfect. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the pillows were just right. Just be aware that parking in not cheap in the area and valet parking is $30 for owners. Next downtown visit to Charleston and we will be back here!”
