“Perfect area to be close enough to Boston, Salem, etc without being too far. Our room had a full kitchen, couch, dining table, workspace, great shower, etc. Breakfast was always good. The people at the front desk were always super helpful. Target is very close by, as well as many food options. I'll stay here again if I ever end up that way.”

“Best of the best in Boston. If you want to experience a hotel that doesn't miss a detail, book with confidence. Upon entering, greeted with a welcoming smile from all employees. Complimentary champagne was a nice touch as well. Room was perfect and clean. Check out in the morning was a breeze and as we waited for our vehicle, the staff genuinely wanted to be sure the experience was as expected. We have stayed here 6 or so times now and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when visiting Boston. Thanks Whitney Hotel for always setting the bar.”

“I think we are truly qualified to give an accurate review of this hotel as we stayed here for nearly 3 months to be near my husband's medical treatment center. The hotel is totally up to date, always smells clean, staff are very pleasant, if there's anything you're needing just speak up and they take care of it immediately. Breakfast every morning is very nice. There's cozy areas to sit when you want to get out of your room, a pool, nice gym etc. The rooms are awesome, you can easily cook all your own food with either the stove top or microwave. Can't say enough good about our experience here! 3 cheers for The Residence at Waltham :)”

“We booked Chateau Merrimack for a night during a road trip from the south back to Canada and what a treat! We were warmly welcomed and immediately charmed by the thoughtful decor, gorgeous wood trimmings and smell of the wood burning fireplace on the main floor. The rooms are very large, clean and delightfully decorated, and the bathrooms are extremely spacious, clean and stocked with lovely products that were a treat to use after we spent time at the wonderful pool and hot tub. The restaurant was closed for upgrades, but we ate in the bar and shared delicious Caesar salad, crispy fries and flavourful wings between three of us and were satisfied and stuffed. After dinner we were treated to a tour of the charming new restaurant space by the kind front desk attendant. The library/ lounge is beautiful and modern and we had a look at photos of the original hotel decor from the 80’s. What a transformation this hotel has undergone, it’s incredible! If this hotel was close by, for this price we would be booking a stay regularly. It sounds like they may be ironing out some kinks based on some other reviews, but given the incredible transformation this hotel had undergone, that makes sense. I hope people are patient and give them a chance. This a special stay and we really hope to return. We really wish we could have stayed longer and were able to use the pool and amenities more. This hotel would be perfect for a romantic or fun weekend away or staycation, and the price was right for both!”
