“We were there for a sewing retreat. Rooms were clean, no funny smells, plenty of room, nice little fridge, plenty of towels. Pleasant sitting area on little beach beside a bay behind hotel with lots of chairs. Daily breakfast was excellent!!!! Lots of choices from toast, pastries, eggs, bacon, yogurts, multiple juices, coffee and tea. Wonderful, helpful and attentive staff. Definitely recommend!!!!!”

The service was wonderful, they kept in contact with us via text to let us know they were always available for anything we should need. “This is an older hotel that needs a lot of updating! The bathroom and sink area are two, very small separate rooms. The rooms have a musty smell and everything seemed sticky from the moisture. We did have an issue with the tub barely draining and the issue was taken care of promptly. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped and the individual decks are nice. We did not use the pool area but it also looked good. The beach area is very nice and has loungers and chairs. The food and bar area including alcoholic drinks was adequate. The servers in the restaurant ( who were foreigners temporarily working for the summer months ) were friendly and accommodating. However, the woman who manages the servers needs additional training in how to treat her staff and the guests. I saw her chastise an employee in front of the guests. Very unprofessional! Overall, the Red Jacket is not the red carpet of hotels.”

“We went to Edaville Festival of Lights then spent the night at Cape Codder. There is a decent size water park that my grandchildren enjoyed (age 5 &7). The lazy river was closed for construction but we still enjoyed the rest of the Waterpark. There is a wave pool but not rough like some wave pools we've been in.It was clean and well staffed. Nice clean towels ready for us. We liked that although checkout was 11: we could stay at the Waterpark until 1:00. The one one thing I'd recommend is to bring puddle jumpers as they do no provide life preservers. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I did take the extra pillows & blanket out of the closet. One pillow just isn't enough. There is a restraunt attached we enjoyed breakfast at. The food was delicious & our waitress was very good.”

“My partner and I have been staying at Brass Key for many years. we normally stay here and were married on the terrace of our room. We loved it here…until the new ownership. our last stay was less than stellar and then we found out the hotel had been sold. we were looking to book for this year and found that pricing is now double or triple previous rates and no longer sustainable for loyal guests. this approach by these large ownerships buying up hospitality businesses will be the downfall of this town. returning guests who place high priority on exceptional accommodations appreciate being valued as loyal guests. Brass Key is sadly no longer that place. corporate greed is taking over this town. truly a shame.”

“Just a quick run to Cape Cod with my wife. Only item on program was Provincetown Whale Watch excursion. Weather was outstanding for late October and location right on the beach was outstanding. As a long time Bluegreen owner I now have another locale to add to my future road trips locales. Kitchen very handy though for longer stays a cooktop and oven would help (but one can always bring their own). Have seen that they may be around but did not seek them out. Beachfront bonfire a nice place to gather and meet other road trippers. All generally pretty laid back.”

“The hotel is in an excellent location, even if you go during October like I did. The ocean view from your room is very relaxing, and beautiful. The room itself was perfectly appointed, other than the bed which was hard as a rock...to the point of causing pain. I think if they updated the beds it would be the best hotel along South Shore Drive to stay in, especially during the Summer.”

“The room was a great size and had a porch on the rear. Great for sitting and enjoying the view. It was a few steps from the indoor and outside pool. You could also see the ocean. The indoor pool was a good size and there was a hot tub also. The problem was the hot tub needed to be cleaned. Muck on the top and sand on the floor and no towels. The room service only replaced the bathroom towels and emptied the trashcan. There was also a restaurant that we used at breakfast. The buffet was good and replenish constantly. The workers were very helpful and quick.”

“This is one if my go-to places when I’m in P-Town. I usually stay here twice a year-spring and fall. I closed the place this year and I think I’m opening it again in April 24. Anyhow I moved three times in the first day for various issues and wound up in a suite. No hassles and never an upcharge. The front desk person was great and very accommodating (I get stuck on names). We are not real messy people so we didn’t use housekeeping, although my wife heard them knock at the door a couple of times. I want to give a shout-out to the manager Jacqui. She has also been very flexible with my requests. The only “down side” the I have is that I’m not real sold on the “resort fee”, which because of the time of year wasn’t charged. I know the extras are there for all the guests and if I choose not to use them it’s my choice. Enough of that rant. It doesn’t stop me from coming here. Again great staff and a convenient place to stay.”

“We were very happy with our stay here. The rooms were spacious and clean, great location..definitely bang for your buck when it comes to the Cape! Unfortunately, we had to check out early due to a family emergency. The woman at the front desk was quick to make sure it was not because we were unhappy with our stay and kindly wished us well. To our surprise we were refunded the remainder of our stay, no questions asked. Thank you to the Cape Winds and your staff… we made it home just in time to say our final goodbyes to a loved one.”
