“I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are large, comfortable, very clean and the parking was free. They have complimentary laundry machines that are very well kept and the hotel has water fountains and fruit infused water in the lobby to keep you hydrated in the very hot Miami weather. The hotel has a very decent breakfast as well. The staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful. I had just had to move from a very bad hotel and was recommended this one. From the moment I walked in the staff was incredibly pleasurable to be around and made my stay that much more memorable for me. Specifically Andres, Santiago and Danni stood out, they were all incredibly professional, friendly and knowledgeable about any questions I had about the hotel property and information around the area. (Also very patient as I had lots of questions) The atmosphere they helped foster made me feel so comfortable that I actually extended my stay multiple times. The hotel was in a very convenient location for my family and I as well. This hotel will now be my first choice if I ever need another hotel stay in Miami. I highly recommend.”

“I stayed here for two nights with my 5 yo daughter. We had a great stay. I love this location. Close to the hotspots of south beach, but just off the beaten path of crazy… and still right on the beach. The room was wonderful (1 bedroom king suite) except the windows didn’t open. Special shout out to Andre at the front desk who was a perfect blend of kindness and professionalism. He offered us a new room for our second night, but packing up and moving seemed like a lot , so we stayed in our very comfortable room. The hotel was clean and well appointed. The happy hour offered some of the best value I’ve found in a high end Hilton in a major city. I had a misunderstanding with my Hilton Diamond food credit and Debra accommodated me thoughtfully. Good pool area. This is an expensive hotel, a little higher end than others I’ve stayed in on the beach, but it was worth the extra for me. Highly recommended.”

Front desk staff leave much to be desire and almost appear sour in the face. Most of the patrons appear conceited and pompous. The gym equipment need a deep cleansing. I give this location a solid 3 stars out of 5.”

“A understated, nice and cozy hotel. Rooms are great, clean and spacious. The roof-top pool is great. Great, welcoming staff and very friendly with a calming relaxing atmosphere. Well located near enough to the beach and Ocean drive without being in the centre. A recommended hotel for central Miami you can escape back. I don’t usually leave tips for the maintenance and room cleaning staff but I had to because they did a wonderful job each day. I would come back for sure. Great place for family and relaxing with a feel of escaping the business. They even add dress pass to F45 training which is across the street. Overall great.”

“I stayed at the President Villa for three nights. The room was quite small but I knew that when I booked, and it was perfect for a solo traveler. Furnishings are simple and have a little wear and tear but everything was very clean, including the bathroom. Every staff member I came in contact with was lovely, and the included breakfast buffet was convenient for a quick bite before heading out. The hotel is right on Collins so it's really convenient if you're planning to walk places, That said, there is a lot of traffic/people noise at pretty much all hours, so if you're after a quiet, secluded getaway or have troubles sleeping with background noise this might not be the place. I had a great stay though, and the distance to the beach is unbeatable.”

Spoken to manager about filthy carpet, and she said it was deep clean week ago. I took her around to show her and she said yes this needs cleaning. Is the Guest paid to do inspector job snd to let the management know what they need to do? I wouldn't recommend anyone staying at this property. “We are so glad we chose this hotel! After doing LOTS of research on where to stay in South Beach, we decided to book at the Cardozo and it was the absolute best decision we could have made. Stephen the manager (and his cute dog, Vader) were so incredibly friendly, and hospitable. Upon arrival, we were met with a very warm welcome, since he remembered me from booking over the phone a few months back. We checked in to our initial room (the King Suite) and were blown away at the luxurious feel and sheer size. A few minutes later, a knock at the door and it was our new friend Stephen who asked if we would like to upgrade to the room next door. Turns out this room was even more incredible and boasted 3 gorgeous bathrooms, a dining area, a living area, and lounge area, and a king bedroom. It was absolutely gorgeous! Clean, modern, updated and HUGE! Myself and my 2 girlfriends had more than enough room to hang out and even have our friends party in this room. Highly recommend if you are ever visiting South Beach. The restaurant downstairs had great food and drinks, with live music and a vibrant atmosphere, We loved it here 10/10!”

“2 stars for the kind and profession staff. Check in was quick and seamless. Room are extremely outdated. I’m a stickler for cleanliness and pleasant smells. This room smells like mildew. Horrible. Although the room has been “cleaned”, it doesnt feel clean at all. Bedding has stains. Hair in the bathroom. This room doesn’t offer that comfort/ coziness that you’d get from a hotel or motel. It’s giving “there may be pest somewhere lurking”. You get what you pay for though. Although it’s only for one night, I’d still like to feel comfortable. It’s currently 8:03 pm, and I’m counting down the hours until checkout time. LBVS Would not recommend”

“We recently stayed here as part of our Thousand Trails membership. $20 on top of the membership per night seems a bit unnecessary based on the location and sites. The only extra benefit we saw was the availability of cable TV. The grove sites were closed due to no power which limited the site availability. The campground is also located in Deep South Miami in the Redwood Agricultural District. It’s a drive to get to tourist areas if that’s what you’re looking for. The plus is Biscayne and Everglades National Parks are both fairly close.”

“We booked 2 nights and extended our stay an additional 3 nights due to the outstanding customer service, amenities, and location. The rooms are clean, quiet, and large enough for a comfortable stay. We were impressed with the resort amenities such as the bikes, beach chair reservation, water bottles, coffee/tea, etc. Well worth the resort fee. The restaurant is also quite good. The best part of our stay had been the warm and professional service from all of the hotel staff. You can feel that each person here is dedicated to providing a top notch experience for each guest. The Blue Moon Hotel is a gem and we’d love to visit again.”

“The resort was very clean and everyone was really friendly; especially an older gentlemen who helped my husband and I with our bags the first night. He really made sure we were taken care of, telling us about the free transportation, price-friendly places, and just offering hospitality. I was told they just remodeled and it looked like it. Everything was REALLY modern in my room; looked very up to date. The appliances (big and small), pots, furniture, even with the rain head shower - everything was perfect. The only thing that sucked was the people in the room above me, sounding like everyday they were constantly running miles in their room and banging on everything they could find. That is not a reflection of the resort though. My phone in the living area was having some issues, but I really did not care considering there was another phone in the bedroom and I wasn't getting any calls. I am really happy with Westgate and will definitely go back sometime in the future. For the best experience, I recommend staying on the third floor, where you will not hear anyone above you.”

“Everything about this hotel was amazing! I love how each room has a theme and is super cute. If you're looking for a memorable getaway next to the beach, definitely stay here. Not to mention the entire staff is beyond friendly. Wendell and Raphael at the front desk went out of their way to make my vacation incredible. It feels like a home away from home. You cannot go wrong staying at the Pelican Hotel. There are so many restaurants nearby, it's the perfect location. Also, they offer beach chairs and the beach is literally right across the street.
