“They will invade your room even if you have the "do not enter" sign in your door. This had me pissed and makes me think I can't trust them. The room was spacious, hot breakfast was typical, and they give free chocolate chip cookies after 8pm. It would be nice if sugar cookies were also offered for the many lactose intolerant people.”

Days Inn By Wyndham Kill Devil Hills Oceanfront - Wilbur

“Cozy place to stay steps from the beach. Rocking chairs on the road side and a fireplace give it a relaxed feeling. The overall inside reminds you of a ski lodge. Rooms are tight but include a desk, microwave, and mini fridge. Walls are thin and you'll hear your neighbors. Maintenance items are a big area where they cut costs with standard bulbs used in specialty lighting and unpainted spackle in the rooms. While most of the staff was fine, the lady with short dark hair at the check out desk shouldn't be handling customers if she is going to give you a dirty look because you pulled her from joking around with the other staff Good price, but I'll try somewhere else the next time I'm here”

“• We stayed on a Wednesday night in late December 2023 (after Christmas). • We were worried a little bit at first based on some reviews we read on Google but there weren’t many other options. • We booked the room knowing we would be late arriving (coming over on the 7PM ferry from Ocracoke). We called ahead of time to confirm what we should do for late check-in. We spoke with Robin who confirmed they do not have anyone manning the front desk that late at night and she would tell us how we could pick up our keys if checking in late. • The front office doesn’t open until 9AM and we were out before 8AM so we never got to meet Robin to tank her. We were up and out early to hit up the NPS Hatteras Visitor Center and get breakfast at Orange Blossom Bakery & Café down the street (hint-hint totally worth it!). • We did stop by on our way out of the park and North but didn’t find anyone at the front desk. We just dropped off our keys and went on our way. • The room we stayed in was 108. • It was nice and clean as we expected it to be. There was one tiny spider in the bathroom that we were able to take care of but everything was fairly nice and clean. The sheets were clean and that was the most important part. • The shower head was pretty abysmal along with the water pressure in the sink as well but we could work with it for one night. • For the price we paid it was definitely what we’d expect and we deemed it a good value for sure. • One annoying thing was that there was only 1 ice machine we could find and it was through the hallway in the middle and then down in a room all the way at the other end. • It was raining when we arrived but being able to pull up just feet away from your room door was fantastic. It looked like they spaced the guests apart just enough that we didn’t have any issues and it was quiet all night. • When we left the next morning, we noticed many of the other cars were already gone. Thinking most of them were there for fishing. • If we were in the area and needed a place to stay for a night, we would definitely stay here again assuming the price was similar to what we paid for this night.”

“This place was AWESOME! The staff is wonderful and so helpful. The grounds were clean and maintained beautifully. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. The room was cozy and cute. And the motel is walking distance to anything you might need. My husband usually hates staying at motels but he really enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely be returning when we're up that way again from Florida. Thank you Swell Motel!!”
