“I booked this hotel because it is a really nice place and so convenient to the airport. Booked a stay the night before our flight and one for the night after our flight on the way home. First stay was great! When we flew in we went to check in and they said they had oversold and that it’s best to do a reservation directly through the hotel (yes, we did indeed do that! We booked it in person several months in advance and we are Marriot members as well). We were told checking in late is hard because people can bump you by making online reservations…what??? They offered to bus us to another hotel. Not a fun way to end a vacation. Making a reservation seems to make no difference here, so have a back up plan!”
