“This is one of those times when I've debated leaving a review because of considering whether it's better to keep it to myself and not tell everyone how amazing it is. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a little getaway instead of purchasing presents for each other this holiday. We drove down from WA and arrived shortly after dark so haven't even had a chance to explore the grounds, trails, or adorable town of Sisters nearby that was all decked out with lights as we drove through. Check-in was smooth and easy, and we were given cards to fill out for requesting our breakfast to be delivered to our rooms in the mornings during our stay. We easily found our Serenity cabin a short distance from parking and rushed in out of the cold. The room was preheated and every bit as nice as we hoped. More incredible and thoughtful details than I can even list, including the cutest little journal for guests to write experiences in and leave for future guests. It was so fun skimming through to see everything from people recording game night scores to writing about their memorable wedding and vacation experiences! We ventured out for a short walk to the lodge to get a lovely bath bomb and some DVDs for later, then to Three Creeks Brewery for dinner and sat in the bar area. Everything about this experience was absolutely great! The bartender who waited on us was perfect. She was friendly, engaged, attentive and thoughtful. We ordered cups of clam chowder and shared a 3 piece fish and chips and thoroughly enjoyed every bite along with our Sisters hard seltzers. We ordered a 6 pack of them to take back to our room with us, then decided to have some marionberry cobbler for dessert. The bartender added everything to the tab and waited until we were ready to leave before bringing the drinks for us to take so they stayed cold. The dessert was incredible and so big we couldn't finish, so she brought separate containers for the cobbler and ice cream for us to save for later. After getting back to our room, I enjoyed soaking in the tub next to the gas fireplace while we watched a movie, then my husband tried out the shower, and we both snuggled into the wonderfully comfy robes provided in the room after putting on some of the great smelling and nicely moisturizing Shibui spa green tea lemongrass lotion. I am writing this as we are relaxing before bed thoroughly enjoying our experience so far and unable to imagine our 2nd day being better than the first, but excited to visit the spa for a couples massage and maybe head to the theatre for a movie. A wonderful start to what we expect to be an incredible experience and already planning our next visit! Can't wait to make this a regular tradition!”

“This is the absolutely most relaxing and quiet resort in the Bend area. I can't remember how many times I've been here but I keep craving it. I literally can't think of a better place to truly unwind...and I've been about everywhere. The pool and hot tub are heated /open all winter and the resort, restaurant and amenities are all high end. It's a bit of a drive to town but that's what's required to be this secluded and quiet. All you hear at night is coyotes.”

“Me and my family went out for a day trip. We wanted something less busy than Elk lake. Hands down a great experience. We rented a jet ski. The staff is over the top friendly, helpful, and helped us enjoy our day. Cultus is one of my favorite places to go have fun on a lake that’s not too far from bend. The owners have done a great job with upgrades and have made a place you always want to comeback to. If I could, I would add 5 more stars to this review.”

“We stayed here over Thanksgiving and will be coming back! The included breakfast was what you expect, but was regularly restocked and kept fresh. The staff was attentive and friendly every step of the way, from the front door to the facilities team. We had a King room with kitchenette and thought this was a great value for the space. It was perfect for a couple and two toddlers; including the warm spacious shower. The hours for the pool/hot tub were good for us: 6am-10pm. I'm not sure when this was built, but it seems very new which we enjoyed. Parking was easy and next to the building, but outside and it was 17 degrees one morning; plus $10/day -- this is literally my only negative here. The location is a quite couple of blocks from the Old Mill shopping area, walking paths, and the big concert venue just across the river. Highly recommend staying here.”
