“Room 6 was impressive, spacious and an upgrade, so very grateful for this. A very decent shower with plenty of hot water at a decent pressure. The lady on Reception in the afternoon/evening made the booking super easy. She and a male colleague were friendly and welcoming on arrival an hour later. They were not just going through the motions, which was refreshing. Although a different lady in the morning did not seem anywhere near as friendly. The evening meal, duck and then the homemade cheesecake, was amazing and a sensible portion, not too large, yet very satisfying. The room was great value and the food was pricey, but worth it. Breakfast was also as good and again with two friendly and efficient waitresses. I will be returning on a regular basis.”

“Had a meal here with my family. On arrival the first thing I noticed was that it is a very impressive building. Very impressive inside. Although inside the heating could have been turned up. In the restaurant I noticed one dinner asked for a heater to be placed by his table. We ordered a bottle of red wine over a hundred pounds worth which was served cold. I personally can't enjoy red served like that. The staff were good as was the meal.”

“I loved my experience. Every staff member was polite and nice. We did an hour ski lesson for beginners. I was so nervous as I have balance issues but from putting on boots, to skis to moving and even managing to stay still on a hill. It was just the right course for a beginner. My son just loved it and it was the right course for him as towards the end he was confident enough to go to near the top of the nursery slope and go down. Chris gave an incredible demonstration that was scaffolded and thorough and very instructional, and kind. Thanks everyone!”
