“The staff at "The Lodge " are incredibly nice. In particular one older gentleman, we were in contact with quite a bit. He is just the type of person needed at the campground. Friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and quiet. You will hear the planes quite often, but you get used to it. Plenty of fun things for children to do. Big games outside, a net of some sort and places to ride their bikes supervised. The shuttle is great to take carowinds. A lot nicer then trying to find a parking space. Take advantage of it for sure! We enjoyed our stay!”

“Hotel is clean and updated, but the young girl who works at the front counter was very rude while checking in. After a long day, I’d expect to arrive, greeted professionally, and be checked in to my room without inappropriate comments while being checked in. While she looked like she was maybe college-age at most and still immature, she should be taught how to properly treat people in the service industry before ever being in a customer-facing situation. Please train staff to be more professional or you won’t have return customers.”

“Pretty good place! Very clean and new. Bed is comfy and shower is spacious. Quite place as well. I was low key worried about airport shuttle after reading all the reviews but there were no problems at all! I called after landed and the shuttle arrived in 15 minutes. The morning one is every 30 minute. It does pick up guests from two other hotels but they are all in the same plaza.”

“Everyone we dealt with was great. Both female managers when we checked in were very pleasant. We stayed there to go to a concert and one of the managers told us where numerous places were to go eat. We came back and "crashed" after the concert and got up for breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic and the lady working it, Anita, was very attentive. She was constantly restocking, cleaning up, and pleasantly interacting with clients. For being a continental breakfast, you couldn't ask for anymore. To me, with everything offered, it was just shy of a buffet. with eggs, sausage, cereals, muffins, bagels, english muffins, yogurts, fruits, etc....I could go on and on. If you left here hungry, it was your own fault. This was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Anita did an awesome job! We even got to enjoy the pool for a little while before checkout which we had all to ourselves. It was a nice relaxing stay and for once I didn't feel rushed.”
