“I'm a vegan. There was nowhere for me to sit in our room. The sofa and chair were made of leather. I had to sit either on the bed or the floor. The coffee shop was only open until 1 pm. Other than that, the place was gorgeous. Their restaurant had some options on the menu that could be made vegan if a person doesn't mind that the restaurant serves meat. The bar has a good drink selection that includes a smokey Manhattan that is fun to watch the bartenders make. My parents had their 50th anniversary and, overall, the place offered a luxurious ambience, a first class menu for omnivores and is in an historic building in a cute downtown district, sadly nothing in the area is vegan and no nearby restaurants are vegan. You'll need to pack your own food.”

“We have been staying at this hotel every year at this time for over 10 years. We had an issue with the booking situation when I first arrived . Ariel was working at the front desk and handled this situation like an absolute pro! I was very impressed with her ability to take a negative Situation and turn it into a positive experience. “Spent the night in the rental cabins. This was after labor day so technically season was over. There was only one bartender/worker on staff and watch a few patrons come and go because the bartender was taking care of another responsibility on the grounds for a long time. Other than that, the bartender was courteous and attentive. The cabins were great, very clean, nice decor and had a spectacular view of the sunset. We had the entire beach court to ourselves at dusk. It was a great time.”
