It’s a lovely location, has excellent and friendly service, comfortable big rooms, 5-star grounds of terraces and gardens, and magnificent views. The signed artwork was eclectic and impressive. I would remodel the sitting room of our suite removing the desks and adding a sleeper sofa and side tables.”

The service is consistently impeccable, the breakfast range is huge and items are freshly homecooked/baked; rooms are maintained in spotless condition; prices are very reasonable: a big advantage is that there are free to use self-service laundry facilities which cuts down on suitcase weight. Iron aircon is noise less and efficient on economy setting. Many rooms have sea views with no extra charge. I could go on......”

“Played the forest course in early September and was in great condition. Weather was very warm and sunny so the shade from the huge trees lining most fairways was very welcome. A top course. Spanish golf as you'd expect it to be. Couple of nice cold beers in the clubhouse over looking the course after. Will definitely return.”

“Beautiful hotel. I stayed in a single room that was a pretty big room. Lots of storage. 2 closets and 3 dresser drawers. Very good location right on the boardwalk /beach. Nice big bathroom with a large shower! I had a bit of a rough start at this location but minor issues. The only suggestion I would make to this hotel is get rid of the carpet and replace with hard floors.”

“This is a lovely 3 star hotel. It dates from the 60s so please expect this and take this into account, it is not ultra modern. However after saying that this does not distract from it's charm. The hotel is comfortable, there is a fantastic pool aswell as other great leisure activities such as table tennis, a tennis court, boules pitch, poolside bar and indoor games room. It's a hotel well suited to couples and families alike. Maybe not a hotel for those intent on a wild nightlife etc. The food at the breakfast bar and evening meal was excellent. The beach is only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. Finally, the staff make the difference here. Friendly, welcoming, efficient and appreciative of their guests. They put an extra star on for me. I would recommend this hotel.”

“It's a nice place to have a cozy, quiet vacation. Views are nice. All in all, it has only two downsides: 1. Overpriced restaurant. This, perhaps, is just a personal preference thing, but in my and my spouse opinion, the price is a bit too high for what you get. After a stay, I visited a different place with prices at a restaurant 1.5 times higher, but the food was a thousand times more delicious. Again, this might be a personal taste thing. 2. Don't make my mistake and leave expensive items in a room - they might get missing and you won't ever find them again. This was unexpected for me from this level of a hotel.”

“I stayed at this hotel with my little dog last night, lovely hotel, really nice. I can't believe it's only 1star. Room was lovely and clean with a balcony. I ate dinner in the bar where you can bring your dog in...food was delicious. Staff were great and hard working. Nice toast with tomato and cheese for breakfast aswell. I will definitely go back next time I travel.”

“It's a really relaxing place and the area is full of green. Great location with pool in the camp and shops accessible by foot. We booked a bangalow, however the only disadvantage was the fact that they change the sheets and the towels every 6 days, which is not ideal! The price of the bungalow was quite expensive but probably this has to do also with the period that we visited- it was high season at the end of July.”

“My friend and I went to spend 2 days at the spa 'Balneari Prats' in Caldes de Malavella in the province of Girona, a 100 km drive from Barcelona. The location and facilities are great: a parking lot for the clients, a quiet outdoor swimming pool, a nice terrace under the shade of the trees, a big modern dinning room with warm colours and kind staff. But we were not told that there are 2 different kind of rooms: a few are bright and modern but some other rooms have a 1960s decoration, they are plain, with old furniture and have rusty window frames that need to be replaced (see the pics). Even though the old ones are cheaper, in my opinion they're not good value for money. We complained about that and they replied they have a low budget to carry on with the renovation after the 'Pandemic'. Therefore, our advice is just to bear in mind these different kind of rooms in your next booking.”

“Excellent location in the middle of the historic, medieval town. Having private parking at no extra price is a big plus. I would prefer if they made it perfectly clear that the parking entrance belongs to the hostal. The old town consists of narrow one way streets with mostly no possibility to park. Yes, the room is very basic but that is known at the time of booking. It was quiet clean. What I like best about it is the courtyard where you can relax in a nice atmosphere, under the trees and can eat breakfast there. I’m not sure the breakfast is worth the money as it’s mostly bread and baked things. See the pic.”
