“Great adults only(!!) hotel in Malcesine but away from the big crowd of the town. The staff at the reception is very friendly. It’s really good to have a private hotel parking. The room was clean and with a nice view. I was a bit disappointed about the breakfast. The pictures promised a bigger assortment. But everything was fresh. Funny story: the bresaola was empty and the waiter asked if shall bring some more. We agreed and he came back with 4 slices… All in all it is way too expensive for what it is. 100€ less would be perfectly fine.”

“Residence Verona has nice size rooms with a kitchenette that has dishes for two people. Unlike some places, It does have heat. (we were there in November.) It also was very clean. It is a 12 minute drive to old town. The best part of staying there is the blonde lady in the reception. She made check-in very easy and gave many good tips for where to get a morning expresso, have dinner, or shop and find a spa. Another plus: The apartment has secure on-site parking.”

“All in all bad experience with staff and facilities that just ruined the otherwise fantastic hotel and location. The aircondition didn’t work properly and in the middle of a storm and a very warm night the staff, that didn’t speak english on the night shift, refused to change us to another room without manager approval, which they could not get at that time, after 3 hours of trying to improve the AC situation they finally let us stay in another room, but the next day refused to discount us anything on the stay even though we had a horrible night, where we had a room that was way too hot to sleep in. Furthermore, the staff was in general not very kind and after one of the waitresses smashed a lot of glass they didn’t bother to pick all of it up, so guest could end up with glass in their feed in the garden. Too low a service level for this price point.”
