“The location is fine but this is an older hotel that needs a lot of updating. The aluminum door on the back porch needs painted or replaced and the corners of the bathroom floor were pretty dirty. I couldn't use the iron due to it being rusted and the coffee pot was an older unit that needed cleaned better. But here's the good part, the staff is great and very accommodating. We had a situation where the desk was unable to rectify but the Asst. General Manager Robin really stepped up to the plate and resolved it for us. We booked this through RCI which only has a small inventory of rooms to choose from so make sure you confirm your room details before completing your reservation.”

“Yes, the gym and the swimming pool are pretty small. However, that’s a 2 stars hotel, and pretty good value for the area. The room was clean and the employees were nice and professional. I have no complaints. If you want better, yes you should spend a bit more money on a higher stars hotel. We spent 5 nights over there and everything was good.”

“We stayed in unit 107 for a week. The unit was beautiful and comfortable! The location to the pool and beach was the absolute best it could be! This was our second time staying at the islander and this condo was awesome!! If there was anything at all they could change it would be very minor…the kitchen utensils were lacking for a family that cooks their meals instead of going out. And the master bed was not super comfortable. But again, minor minor issues. We plan on staying in this exact condo for years to come!”

“The rooms were clean and kitchen well stocked with all utensils and appliances that you would need. Including dishwasher and dishes. Loved the view from the balcony (ocean front). Bed was very comfortable if you like soft mattress. Will need to bring hair dryer. Wish check-in was earlier than 4pm and check-out was at least 11am. Otherwise we loved the place and it was a good value compared to surrounding rentals. It was also great plus that there were sand chairs at the rental because the umbrellas and chairs are taken down at 5pm. Note: Make sure you go down early if you want to reserve chairs.”

“The staff were nice and did their best to meet the guests' needs. The pool and most spaces were clean and well cared for. The location is great--just minutes from beautiful beaches with plenty of parking! There are plenty of places to dine and shop nearby, with fun places to take children for entertainment down the road. In the room, the bed was super comfy, the AC worked great, and very quiet. But the rooms smell musty, although very clean. Overall, the resort is pleasant if a bit run-down.”

“I stayed in a two bedroom condo with a full kitchen, two bathrooms, a balcony, living room, and dining room. I was with three other people on vacation for seven days. Checking in and out was simple. Access was with push button codes. The staff was super friendly and polite. Beach access is great. The condo was fully furnished with everything we needed for our stay. There is a Target, grocery store, pharmacy, and restaurants within 5-10 minutes of the complex. The fitness room was disappointing. The air was stagnant and hot. It could use a major upgrade. There were some mostly rainy days where I used the facility. The equipment was okay. It has everything you need to get in a full body workout. We stayed in unit 705, which is on the top floor with a beautiful view of the ocean and beach. The cost was a little less than nearby hotel rooms. Everything was expensive. The white sand beaches are amazing. I would stay here again on a future visit.”

“We are staying in #1403, and it is the most spacious, up to date condo we have ever seen. The amenities are boundless. The master bathroom has a large whirlpool tub. The toilet and bidet are in a separate enclosed room. There is also a huge double shower. There are 3 full bedrooms, all of which have their own bathroom adjacent to each room. Right off the living room is another bathroom for guests. The master bedroom has a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Off of the living room is another balcony with 4 chairs and a table for the whole family to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready with new state of the art appliances. There is a sunroom right off the living room, which has a table with chairs, a set of bunk beds, AND an independent ice machine! All this and so much more!!”

“Had a very nice time. Numerous gates with codes for guest protection, can't complain about that. Chairs & umbrellas up each day on beach for us, that was great. Condo is close to many destinations & food locations (although traffic is herendous in July, and restaurants are packed in evenings). Our condo very nice, view great. Needs some maintenance attention if it's going to survive (unplugged sink ourselves). Got busted for leaving some sandy beach items outside the door, but out of the walkway. We are not complaining. We got a good 😃. Would gladly return.”
