We had read the reviews before booking saying it was a Nice place with Nice staff. It was 100 procent true! It is a family run campsite and they a so sweet, dog and children friendly. “We spent the best week ever here doing an alpine summer family vacation. The hotel is so comfortable and welcoming, and the workers are fantastic. There’s a full week of activities, taking advantage of the local mountains and history. Definitely enroll in the meal plan - the food is absolutely fantastic, and the chefs are the real-deal French experts and also incredibly friendly. It was really cool to meet other families and to wander the village (the hotel is in the perfect location, central to everything). You will certainly want to get your MultiPass card through the hotel - it will save you and your family hundreds of Euros. Make sure to try a “biere Picon”, a local specialty, and read a little about the rules for Petanque (like bocci) - so much fun. This place seems like it attracts really warm, friendly people, same as the staff. We had a village view which was gorgeous! I imagine the mountain view is nice, too, but I liked seeing the nighttime activity when i couldn’t sleep (time zone change). The mountain air and all the good company was just what we needed. Also, make sure to check out the Park-du-Dereche and the pool — outstanding!”

“The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any queries. The hotel's proximity to the gondola was positive; however, the overall experience was quite disappointing. Despite promoting itself as a ski resort near the lift, the hotel lacked a dryer for ski boots. We were instructed to dry our ski boots in the room using the radiator, which seemed impractical and risky for expensive ski equipment. The room was tiny, and we were lucky that there was space under the bed; otherwise, there was no space where to keep our luggage. The closet was too small to fit our suitcases and clothes. There was no proper ventilation in the room, so after taking a shower, there was a lot of moisture in the room, with water on the windows. I found the room very claustrophobic. We opted for an all-inclusive package, expecting a pleasant Christmas break with good food, and I cannot express how disappointed we were. The food was the worst reheated industrial food you could ever imagine, utterly tasteless. Limited seating at the hotel restaurant resulted in queues, and the quality of the food was below average. One evening, a mishap in the kitchen left the restaurant covered in smoke and an unpleasant odour. The dinner that night consisted of jacket potatoes and salad, as I guessed the meat was burned. Additionally, some items, like the hot baguettes served at dinner, were offered at breakfast but were inedible due to their hardness in the morning. The food quality was very poor; there were no eggs for breakfast, and the hash browns were uncooked with raw potatoes inside. The chicken thigh was uncooked and raw inside after cutting. Insufficient seating around the bar made it challenging to find a place to wait for dinner. The hotel's appearance in photos was deceiving, as the reality did not meet expectations. The spa facility was subpar and came with an extra charge of 20 Euros per person. The outdoor swimming pool claimed to be heated to 24 degrees, but it felt cold. Due to this, we opted out of using the pool and went for the spa instead. The spa was small and unwelcoming, lacking amenities like a drink station. The limited seating, unappealing atmosphere, and non-functional jacuzzi made the experience far from relaxing, making it a waste of money. We left the spa after a few minutes due to the non-working jacuzzi and complained to the front desk, which informed us that they were aware that the jacuzzi was not working, so we were unsure why this was not mentioned to us in the first place. When I asked for towels or robes for the spa, I received still-wet robes that someone had probably used before me or did not dry properly. The spa should be avoided! Unfortunately, the stay led to a stomach bug, taking several days to recover. I would not recommend this place to others based on our unsatisfactory experience.”
