“Overall a good experience but still not great. About the hotel: Property is a bit aloof but at a very calm place. The hotel is newly constructed so the look and feel was very good. About staff: Very good and professional. The staff was helpful and was courteous to all the requests. Food: We were fasting and the staff ensured that the cooked food was free of onion and garlic. Food taste was great and service was fast Room: We opted for Premium category and the same was quiet big with good lit up and cozy as well. The only issue was with the bath area where the drainage was not great and jet spray was leaking. All in all a good stay in the price category.”

“We stayed in river side cottages and they were great. The size is not too large but good enough. The property is not brand new but not even too old and hygiene was good. Indian food options were also very good and reasonably priced. They arranged for a bonfire as well on a short notice. Service was also decent considering it's a large property. The staff also heated up some of the food we were carrying for the baby. The river is very shallow which takes away a bit from the traditional riverside experience but then this lets you go in the river which isn't possible with deep rivers. Overall a nice place with good staff and management. Location is around 45 min drive from Lansdown so you end up staying at a lower altitude but that's a price you need to pay if you want a river side property in this area.”

“I had such a gala time here. While many might say that the location is too isolated, but that's the one thing I loved the most. It's such a peaceful escape, and quite rewarding after that long, difficult road. They were very hospitable, and had a room all cleaned and ready for me even at 6 am. The view from the room is to die for. And the food is delicious. They even put up a bonfire for me and it was the most blissful i had felt in months. My only feedback would be that in case the room next to you is occupied, the sound travels very, very clearly. I knew when the person next to me was opening the zips of his bag and could hear him snoring all night. Would really recommend a little bit of sound proofing. Would 100% recommend, especially for solo travellers. As a solo female, I felt 100% safe.”

My dish - Gobi Manchuria - was tasty but the sauce was too heavy and oily with a relatievely small amount of cauliflower. But other dishes were reported tasty. As in hotels, prices are on the higher side, but mostly worth it.”
