Complimentary breakfast, Starbucks less than 5 min walk from hotel, beautiful walking path along the coastal waterway. Beautiful quite time walk, with a coffee at sunrise. Lots of benches along the way to enjoy the sited. There were 3 of us on the trip and our room was two bedrooms with two baths and a terrace very reasonably priced.”

She made our experience from beginning to end FANTASTIC! Not only do I feel like she gave us the best corner room in the whole place as an upgrade, but she did everything with a smile and a great attitude! Thank you Mialani for providing a memorable weekend for us. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable and spacious. The elevators worked well. The breakfast provided lots of options. We even spent quite some time at the outside bar and they were kind enough to make sure we were warm during our time outside. I will definitely be staying here next time we are in San Diego. “We found our home away from home when visiting my family. We love that we can visit my home town but have a place to ourselves. The price isn't bad either. You get a whole apartment! The service has always been great. The rooms are a little outdated, but they said they are remodeling the rooms in 2024! The front lobby area just finished remodeling, and it's beautiful! 😍 we've stayed twice now (both 1 bedrooms) and have been super happy both times. This time, we got to use the fireplace. The 1st log each night was free, which was super nice. The. Views from both rooms were great. Very quiet day and night. Occasional kids playing or riding bikes that get loud but nothing too crazy. Made it feel more homey to me. Plus, they have a very cute resident cat that greets you at the front 😊 All and all a super great family or couple place to stay at. Short term or long term!”

“Nice value for the money! Room was clean and well kept. Our room location (4th floor) was quiet and the layout was great. The fold out couch and privacy wall created a two room space in just one room. Nice set up for our family of 4. Fridge was big enough to stock up with drinks and hold leftovers during our stay, and the microwave was a plus. Housekeeping was tricky to figure out at first. A few of the days we requested service it didn't happen, but once I talked to the front desk it was taken care of per our request. Pool was well maintained but we typically had to ask the front desk for towels. There was a soccer tournament and those guests really impacted the other guests in a negative way. Lucky they were only in town for two nights because they took over the pool and DESTROYED the breakfast buffet. Best to hit the breakfast early if you stay. Food is great, but it was hard for the kitchen staff to keep up with hot food demand when a lot of guests were partaking. The gym was awesome! Not crowded and enough to get a nice workout in. I'd stay again for sure!”

“Hotel Indigo, in Del Mar, California, is one of the most unique hotels my husband and I have ever stayed in. Our room, 403, had a full ocean view, accompanied by a complete poolside view. This room has a couch, desk area, mini fridge, and coffee maker. The breakfast in their restaurant had many varieties that were all delicious. We were there for 18 days and tried them all! Be sure to try the steak tacos for dinner, as they were excellent also! Jordan, the food and beverage manager, goes above and beyond. He is personable, professional, and warmly greeted us each day we had breakfast. Barbara, at the front desk, called us the day of arrival to let us know our room was available. She also greeted us each time we walked into the lobby. Daniel Miranda, who is the general manager of this hotel, runs a tight ship, which is extremely evident by the cleanliness of the rooms, and hotel grounds. Be sure to have breakfast, or dinner, at the outside patio seating area, which has a view of the ocean, and pool. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo, and will definitely be back!”

“We stayed in a villa that had 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms in it. It had a large kitchen, and table so the whole family could enjoy breakfasts and lunches there. There are a ton of shopping and restaurants nearby. Not walking distance though. The hotel also does little events for the whole family. We got to enjoy a reptile show! The large pool at the check-in location is nice size and has a lot of little slides and mini pools around. It also has a bar for food and drinks. Lots of seating. It was a ways from our room, but they offer a shuttle to the villa. It's close to the beach, not walking distance though. There's not much parking for the beaches, so we had to drive a ways before we found one that we could park at. It was maybe 3 or 4 miles from the beach closest to the hotel.”

“Beautiful little place, impeccably maintained, simple and elevated decoration. The views are amazing with little between the property and the resort. The pool is small, but the view is everything. You can walk to all kinds of restaurants and coffee shops as well as lots of beach right there. The only thing that was a surprise was that there are train tracks between the property and the cliff, but they are mostly commuter trains and very quiet. I didn't know trains could be that quiet!
