“We stayed in Bourg-en-Bresse for one night and are so happy we choose this restaurant to dine at. The two servers went above and beyond to accommodate us given we speak no French. We arrived over 30 minutes late and were still accommodated. We were also allowed to bring our little dog which was really important for us. The burgers are huge and delicious! And you get both fries and sweet potatoes fries with your burger!! Service was also really fast! All plates and glasses are unique which gives the place a funky hipster feel. The desserts are exceptional. To top it off, you get to choose a lollipop from a lollipop stand and a free shot of liquor after your meal. Prices were more than fair and there are meal options if you wish to have a drink, burger and dessert. The Christmas beer on tap was also really nice!”

“Outstanding food and service :-) we were so stunned about this restaurant that we visited it twice during our stay in the area and even have chosen it for our last day of vacation dinner. I could write a long review but let’s keep it simple…we loved everything about this place and if you have the chance GO THERE (reservation is necessary, likely to be fully booked quickly). “We booked our table after a friend's recommendation. The restaurant is next to the market at Places des Carmes. It has a a cool urban vibe. The tables were filled with a very diverse clientele. The food is really good, but sometimes a bit too sweet. Some more sour and bitter in the dishes would be nice. Very curious to visit again and taste how the kitchen evolves! Kudos to the team!”

“Such a great place in the heart of the old walled town! Absolutely delicious food. Really cool mix of French style dishes and some fusion elements like leek sushi or deep fried pork belly and soy glaze. Lots of places in France (like the others on the same street) serve traditional food which is great, but so so nice to have something a bit different too. Also went there for some cider whilst exploring the basilica and chateau on another day. Would very much recommend!”
