“We went for a Saturday breakfast. It was super packed and great atmosphere. It’s also a great cafe to take your pet (particularly dog) with you. They seem to offer meals for pets (milk or cream I think from what I could see). While the meals were nice, they all seem to be a little on the heavier side. Both portion wise but also calories and ingredient wise. So just be aware of that. For example, my meal looks healthier than it might be: lots of hollandaise sauce, deep fried ingredients etc. Coffee is good.”

I’ve tried lots of different dishes here over the years, but always come back to chicken fried chicken, it’s just that good. Expect exceptional food with generous portions at reasonable prices. Do yourself a favour and visit Creole Soul Kitchen. It’s a hidden gem in Brisbane. Marc, Leena and team are so friendly! (Ask Marc about Elvis).”

“Each dish we ordered was delicious! I'll definitely return again. All the flavours complement each other very well, and the portions were very decent. Customer service was lovely too as they bring out the food and they describe the dish. Very friendly staff :) The tempura oyster was a stand-out! They were amazing! The fish tartare, pork belly and chicken morning glory were also very tasty. I will be back to try more dishes!”

We had the banquet which was outstanding on all courses, except perhaps the rice cream dessert which wasn’t to our taste. Love the atmosphere in here, staff are very attentive. “Stayed in Port Douglas for two weeks and ate at N17 burger every second day. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Most staff were very friendly and TVs showing sport were enjoyable. Our favourites were the vegan burger (we're not vegan but this was so tasty) and the loaded fries which we found to be much much more spicy than the chicken. They do also have the best shakes in the area!!!”
