“The restaurant has two entrances, one is very "raw" intended for people that are waiting for their "Takeaway" dishes. Second entrance has a restaurant part, with a very cosy climat. The food was really good there. I took carne a moda da casa, which was a huge portion of beef meat, with delicious souce, served with ham, cheese and egg on top with a lot of homemade chips. I can honestly say that meat was amazing (you could feel it's very fresh and came from a happy cow) and souce was unforgettable. My friends took two different bacalhau dishes, and they also really enjoyed their portions for what they said. They don't have a vegetarian option on a daily basis, but you can try to call them and ask of they'll be able to prepare something for that day. With us its worked. For drinks we ordered strange, very different but nice local vinho da casa, which I can describe as a red version of vinho verde. The service was kind and helpful. On average we (group of 5 people) spent there around 15-18 euro per person (main dish + 1l of vinho da casa). I can strongly recommend this place.”

“I first went to this restaurant when I was 16 (44 years ago) and I have been going back ever since. I lived in NY and every time I went on vacation I would go here. It is 2 hours away from my house in Galicia and the trip is well worth it. I always get the same dish, bacalau al Stop, and it never disappoints. It tastes just as good as the first time I had it. The staff is friendly and the locale is very clean. I have also spent the night there a few times. The rooms need updating but they are always very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of hot water and heat and AC. Also lots of things to do nearby so it is a great place to go. I cannot say enough nice things about this place.”

“The food is fantastic. I especially loved the Bacalhau a Casa. The bbq chicken is moist... not dry, unlike other churraco's in the town. The only reason I gave the 4 star rating is due to the extremely long wait since the restaurant only had 1 waiter working the inside and outdoor seating during the height of the tourist season. I sincerely hope they pay the waiter well because that poor young man was running around servicing all the customer tables. He was hustling.”
