I have never been to any restaurants in Barcelona that has such high quality of fish and professionalism in making sushi. Back in my country, I would often visit Omakase restaurants as this one, and even so it wouldn't have been easy to have an authentic experience as this restaurant provides. Worth the money and the wait.”

“Every time I pass through Barcelona, at least once (if not more) I stop at Asagumo! Sushi freshly prepared, you can see it at the counter, very fresh ingredients, excellent presentation and impeccable and very attentive service. My favorite dishes are those based on butterfish and the hot tartare without forgetting the beef & scallops uramaki. Another dish that cannot be missed is Sashimi Moriawase. Highly recommended!”

“Can Xapas is in a converted 1930s cinema on what passes for the High Street in the small town of Cornella del Terri. Easy to find. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. No problem for Catalan or English speakers. The food was beautiful to the eye and impeccably fresh. Delicious and inventive combinations. We went for the €60 menu and it was more than enough. The €40 was essentially the same but needed hard choices. The tomato and fig salad was spectacular. The baccala was perfectly cooked. All other courses exceeded expectations. Great wine list with lots of local options.”
