“A great dinner and experience with “The King Of Lobster!” Small community restaurant in Porto Empedocle - port town of Agrigento. Best pasta with lobster we had on our trip. The owner/chef was a charming and exuberant fellow who frequently checked in with us, making sure everything was good. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Well worth finding.”

“A delicious lunch in Palermo. We had Pasta Alla Norma and another tomato based pasta which were both excellent. The salted ricotta on the Pasta Alla Norma was beautiful. We also really enjoyed the sardine meatballs. We don’t get fish based meatballs in Australia so it was a really nice change to try local sardines that way. The tomato sauce that the sardine meatballs were cooked in was also delicious. The team here were friendly, courteous and just really pleasant. A great spot for a meal”

“10 stars for the service!! Seriously, do not skip out on this local gem when you’re in Catania. Turned out to be super close to our hotel, on a quiet side street. As soon as we sat down around 7:30pm, we were greeted by a menu on an easel (no paper menus, no QR codes) and a server explained each food item line by line which was helpful as the menu is fully in Italian. Another server helped us pair wine with our food choices and it was an excellent bottle from Etna. Overall superb service - kind, joyful, patient and attentive. Food was delicious as well, with an emphasis on seafood plates. We ordered octopus dishes and lobster pasta to share. By the end of it, there was no room for dessert but our server treated us to limoncello on the house. Exceptional experience in Catania, will be back to try their dessert!!”

“After 3 night stay in Palermo my wife and I decided to try here on our last night. The place was packed when we arrived at 8pm, very busy. We took a chance and asked if we could have a table which they were very obliging. The food I could not fault, delicious and the service was excellent. There was a queue outside as we left which shows its very popular with the locals.”

“Amazing pizza excellent service! A really amazing place to stop and have a great pizza and very very good service! The staff was very friendly and also helpful! We arrived by mistake to their take away place and they guided us to the restaurant so we can have a rightfully late dinner! Thanks for the experience thanks for a great taste!”

“I expected a lot based on reviews and was hoping for some of the best Italian pasta we've had but it was mixed and we've had much better in our travels. The 3 smoked fish was excellent and they split the order on 3 plates - a nice touch. 16€ 5star The bacon carbonara was decent (noodles too soft)-16€ 3.5star The seafood pasta was quite good - 22€ 4star The special black squid pasta was terrible and extremely salty, wife couldn't eat it, I tried and the salt was overwhelming- 1 star 25€”

“First an most importantly the service is on point (not like other places in Avola). The food is great for sea food lovers. The prices are a bit high, but that's expected since its next to the seaside. The selection of wine is also very good. I had traditional pasta & mixed salad, the portions were big and tasty.”

“Delicious food and wine, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! During my stay in Sicily this restaurant was my favourite. I tried the most delicious spinach and ricotta ravioli ever, in pistachio creamy sauce. The staff welcome you on your arrival with some champagne and appetisers. The owner was very welcoming and helpful in making a choice with our food and wine. Highly recommend you this restaurant if you like high quality food, excellent service and welcoming atmosphere!”
