“We stayed in Bourg-en-Bresse for one night and are so happy we choose this restaurant to dine at. The two servers went above and beyond to accommodate us given we speak no French. We arrived over 30 minutes late and were still accommodated. We were also allowed to bring our little dog which was really important for us. The burgers are huge and delicious! And you get both fries and sweet potatoes fries with your burger!! Service was also really fast! All plates and glasses are unique which gives the place a funky hipster feel. The desserts are exceptional. To top it off, you get to choose a lollipop from a lollipop stand and a free shot of liquor after your meal. Prices were more than fair and there are meal options if you wish to have a drink, burger and dessert. The Christmas beer on tap was also really nice!”

“What a surprising find! Food was excellent and super affordable. We had the set lunch and the fish was simply exquisite. Crispy skin and cooked lightly on the outside, and served with a delicious chickpea mash. The dessert was delicious too, and the ingredients all came together wonderfully. Sadly I don’t have other photos as we demolished each course with such enthusiasm. Thanks Chef for a lovely meal!”

It's a few weeks since we visited, and we're now back in Australia, but my mouth still waters when I think of that perfectly cooked piece of cod surrounded by fennel and mussels. The attention to detail, the friendly, easy manner of staff, everything was spot on. Easily the best meal in our 4 week holiday. Photo of dessert, because I forgot to get one of the fish :-)”
