“Food was delicious! Guacamole burger, children's spareribs and a black angus steak 500 gr. Asked what condition I wanted my steak in, medium in this case. It was stated that because it is a good piece of meat, the chef is able to remove it from the grill in 95% of cases. If this was not satisfactory, I could indicate this and it would be thrown on the grill. . When ordering a main course, you received a bread board with home-baked cranberry bread, with various spreads (eggplant, hummus, chili tapenade and of course herb butter), of which the chili tapenade (this was really delicious) was the most popular. Staff extremely friendly, regularly asked if everything was to your liking. Although after indicating a few times that everything was still satisfactory, that was also fine... no big deal... Because of Christmas there were all Santa hats on the backs of the chairs. Parking was possible nearby in the parking lot and it was less than a 5-minute walk.”

“I had the pleasure of being invited to this restaurant by a few local Dutch friends, and it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, with the restaurant bustling with activity. The presentation of the food was impressive, and luckily, it tasted just as good as it looked. 😋 Although everything else was fantastic, I was a bit disappointed to find that the sweet potato fries were served cold. However, the rest of the dishes were delightful. In particular, I thoroughly enjoyed the refreshing virgin mojito mocktail, which was the perfect thirst-quencher . The outside area with the fire pits added a special touch to the overall ambiance. It created a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evening. I want to give a big shout-out to the helpful waitress who served us throughout the evening. Her attentiveness and assistance made our dining experience even more enjoyable. 🙌🏼 All in all, I had a great time at this restaurant, and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a lively atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. “My partner and I landed here via socialdeal for a five course menu. We were greated by a relatively small yet cozy restaurant with a modern interior and a great view on the harbour. After being seated, we had received some small and tasty starters, followed by a bread basket with delicious butter and olive oil, and the asparagus cappuchino with an merengue on top. After that we received a variety of dishes (see photo's), where the star of the night was the ceviche with bass and apple, followed by the plate with the beef cut and potatoes. Overall it was a very tasty 5 course meal with mosty dutch dishes and ingredients. The drink selection was also fine, with some nice local options( especially for the beer enjoyers). The staff was very friendly and explained all the dishes well, especially to my english-speaking partner. At the end we were unfortunately greeted with a "weekendtoeslag" which was an additional 15€ for coming in during the weekend. I have never experienced that before and it was a bit of a sour aftertaste on an otherwise great evening. If there was no weekendtoeslag, I would have rated this restaurant 5 stars”

“We were visiting for the Friesian Stallion show from the United States and found this restaurant through a Google search. Little did we know it was such a treasure!! We had the kindest waitress who provided excellent service and the food was absolutely incredible! We would love to come back the next time we visit!”

“Heerlijk eten! Vriendelijk personeel! Delicious food, friendly staff. The new prices are a bit higher than on their website, I guess they didn't update it yet. Pretty busy and crowded these days. We had to wait for awhile until we're served. Had better book it in advance to have a nice cozy table for dinner. Highly recommended!”

“Place in centre of Dokkum, what an hospitality as well cozy , clean and modern decor, the staff really friendly and absolutely charm doing their job, we came at pretty busy lunch hours yet they served us our lunch no longer than 15 minutes ( while they also really flexible to adjust their standard menu for my salad ) with a portion well appreciate for the money you paid , we will absolutely come back here again whenever we visit Dokkum PS they offered varied Vegan menu”
