“Went here for my birthday with my boyfriend and the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was amazing, he went above and beyond for us to enjoy our time. My boyfriend mentioned in passing that it was my birthday and when our dessert arrived there was a candle and they played happy birthday on the speakers. We will definitely come back again. Thank you so much for making my birthday special!”

“Umi Falafel is a Lebanese chain restaurant with locations across Ireland. Here in Belfast the location is perfect being right beside Queens at the top of Botanic Avenue. The interior is open and airy, the process to order is simple and it is as easy to sit in as it is to takeaway. On the menu there are lots of plant-based options but I had the classic combination of the Palestinian Falafel and the Batata Hara. The Falafel itself is very tasty and they are all made fresh behind the counter. The salad is always fresh and genuinely adds a lot of flavour. The batata hara are amazing, they are spiced perfectly and have a lovely zesty flavour too. Overall this is an amazing shout for a quick bite to eat at any time of day but it has an especially good meal deal which is served to 6pm. I would advise anyone who enjoys food to try it out 😁”

The bread provided was exceptionally delicious, and the sourced butter added to the delightful dining experience. Every course we ordered was incredibly tasty, and I strongly recommend considering the cheese supplement—it's worth every bite. The overall dining experience was so exceptional that I am eager to return when I have the opportunity to visit Belfast again.”

“Went here for our Anniversary place is amazing. Food was amazing and the staff go out of their way to give you a first class service. As my step son has Egg and nut allergies. They look after him. The Atmosphere was amazing. You have to bring your own bottle other than that a first class evening. We are definitely going back.”

“We stopped off here on the way from Belfast to Derry after being recommended to go here by friends and by god were we glad we did! Our warm welcome from our very attentive waitress to having our drinks on our table within minutes and allowing the perfect amount of time for us to be ready to order. The kids menu for our 4 and 6 year old was great, they loved being able to choose a starter, main and dessert and having the fruit skewer as a choice is super healthy and great to see (i have added menu to pics). Our food was absolutely beautiful and nothing was left on our plates, perfect portions, perfectly cooked and presented and top class and friendly service from the staff. This will definitely be our go to place for trips to Belfast in future (just 2 mile from roundabout at Magherafelt (Derry to Belfast route) really couldn't recommend here any higher. Full marks!”

“Really great vegan food in Belfast! One of my favorite restaurants I ate at while on holiday here. I had the ramen and the cauliflower bites (not technically vegan since they have honey) but wow everything was great! Really cool atmosphere and great service as well. Wish I was there for longer so I could have eaten there again!”
