Whether you're a fan of classic cheeseburgers or you prefer something more adventurous, Zweite Heimat has something for everyone. What's even more impressive is their selection of vegetarian and vegan burgers. I was pleasantly surprised by the options available, which included a chickpea and sweet potato patty for vegetarians and a lentil and vegetable patty for vegans. Both were absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The prices at Zweite Heimat are very fair and reasonable considering the quality and taste of the food. However, as there aren't many seats available, I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance to secure a table. Overall, Zweite Heimat is a fantastic spot to grab a casual and delicious meal in Passau. From their mouth-watering burgers to their friendly staff and cozy atmosphere, everything about this place was top-notch. “The food is out of this world! I had one of the best Zwiebelrostbraten of my life. Perfectly cooked and with a delicious salad as a side = heaven! The spicy pasta was also really delicious. Can't wait to come back and sample all the other dishes. Aside from food: The waitress was nice but seemed very stressed which made it slightly unpleasant to interact with her. She didn't ask us how we wanted our meat cooked and also didn't answer our questions. All in all, the food is well worth it and we will definitely come back”

The food came quick and was very good, diversified meniu form sea fruits to lamb and beef, all cooked perfectly. The personnel is professional and very kind and oriented with atention at details.”

“The restaurant looks great inside. The waitresses speak very good English, making me feel warm as a tourist! We came with kids for dinner. The food amount was large. Nevertheless, one dish we ordered was frozen inside, and in another the sea food was hard to chew, so they were probably not made by fresh materials and were not cooked properly. So I guess this is a bar for drinks and not really for food for families. Perhaps many people come here for drinks, not for food? In the end, we were still asked if we want a shot when I had already asked for payment. No thanks.”
