Top 5 Restaurants in Louisiana

The Sazerac Bar
4.6
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

130 Roosevelt Way, New Orleans, LA 70130, United States

“Classy upscale bar with bartenders that know exactly how to make the best drinks. A tad on the pricey side but honestly keeps the clientele and experience closer to what you’d expect from a bar hotel such as this. Sometimes you want bourbon …”

Sneaky Pickle & Bar Brine
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 04:00 PM

3200 Burgundy St, New Orleans, LA 70117, United States

“Delicious upscale dining spot. Food was unique and delicious, though it does suffer from the "high price for tiny portion" trope of upscale dining. However the food and atmosphere make up for that drawback. Staff was professional and friendly, and cocktails are delicious and worth pairing with your entree.”

Coquette
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 05:30 PM

2800 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA 70115, United States

“Coquette has been our favorite restaurant in New Orleans for years. Their menu is fresh and innovative. I come here at least once a year and their menu has been different each time. A couple of the dishes that we recently tried and enjoyed are the Oyster Stew and the Sea Scallop with uni and satsuma butter. Their wine and cocktail selection is fun and original. I highly recommend their tasting menu and their wine pairing. It's always a treat to dine at Coquette!”

1000 Figs
4.7

3141 Ponce De Leon St STE 1, New Orleans, LA 70119, United States

“Great little place with awesome Mediterranean food”

Brigtsen's Restaurant
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 05:00 PM

723 Dante St, New Orleans, LA 70118, United States

“This is maybe the best restaurant in New Orleans. It has not quite 10 tables. Chef Brigtsen comes around to greet diners. The food is awesome. I had the seafood platter...not at all what you think it is. There was a filet of redfish topped with shrimp. There was an oyster with spinach. There were 2 scallops prepared differently. There was shrimp cornbread. Oy! My companion had sheepshead that she said was delicious. For dessert we had king cake bread pudding. Oy again!”

Desi Vega's Steakhouse
4.6
( 8 reviews )

628 St Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA 70130, United States

“Reserved a table for 2, even with reservations we still had to wait. Once seated it took a while for someone to acknowledge our table, a good 12 minutes. Once I server, Mona Lisa came she was very delightful & attentive. We ordered the fried green tomatoes with crab on top, Barbecue shrimp, Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, petite filet and macaroni and cheese. Everything was just okay, basic steakhouse food. The shrimp and tomatoes came out not hot at all, but still edible. I probably won’t be returning, they need to learn how to accommodate the crowds, wait time and food time.”

Saba

4.6

Closed until 10:00 AM

5757 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA 70115, United States

“Didn’t think I was a fan of Israeli food until eating here. The pita is next level!! We came with a group of 8 so had to do the feed me menu. We were definitely fed… sooo much food. We were seated by a somewhat private table but the restaurant was not thrilled when we were standing up and chatting at the beginning and end so maybe not a great spot for a large gathering.”

Guy's Po-boys
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $
Open until 04:00 PM

5259 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA 70115, United States

“The Grilled Shrimp PoBoy has to be the BEST I've ever eaten. The location just reminds you of why you love to visit NOLA. I sat in my truck out front and watched a young student through the window at the Art school across the street as he drew a portrait, for some odd reason I felt lucky to be in that moment. Then to be greeted with GREAT food and amazing hospitality, that totally iced the cake. Guy's is definitely a must try, I can't wait to return.”

Cocha

Cocha

4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$

445 N 6th St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802, United States

“The atmosphere and service at Cocha was top tier. If you go, I suggest ordering the following items below. My server, Cleo, was amazing and did a great job. I started with a glass of Chardonnay and stuck to it the whole day.”

Barley Oak
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$

2101 Lakeshore Dr, Mandeville, LA 70448, United States

“Barley Oak is a restaurant located on the North Shore. The beer selection was plentiful but didn’t have many local crafts brews. The food is decent, but my experience was mixed. I ordered the Reuben, which did not cover the bread halfway-covered with meat, and the potato salad was just alright. Unfortunately, the floors and bar felt dirty and sticky, could’ve been the humidity from outdoors as it was a very warm afternoon. The bathroom was also far from clean, with a sticky floor that made walking unpleasant . The dining experience was passable, with bartenders who were okay but not particularly attentive. The conversation from two girls centered on their age and relationships. Overall, it's not a place I'd revisit. Despite the historic charm, the cleanliness and dining experience left much to be desired. We may give it another try in cooler months”
