1 Opportunity Ave, Point Lookout, MO 65726, United States

“This is our new favorite place to eat! It is worth the wait. You are treated like royalty by every single smiling face in there. The food was incredibly reasonable, portions were quite large and absolutely delicious. The students communicate the love of Christ in all they do. Cassidy, our server was outstanding!”

Fred & Red's

“Walking in this true diner is like a step back in time (sorta like watching Stranger Things). Famous for their Spaghetti Red…like very famous. Ambience is next level retro. Even the radio was playing “Maneater”. You sit around a counter, the menu is simple and the service is friendly. It’s definitely an experience…and also the best spaghetti red.”

“The food and staff were amazing! Held a team dinner there last night and was very impressed. The staff was great and told us the same room was used for the Kelce family (Travis, Jason, Donna, etc.) a few months earlier (post super bowl party I guess). Lived in KC for a long time and never experienced Briarcliff area, so beautiful! Banana cake was terrific as was the pan seared salmon.”

Pizzeoli Wood Fired Pizza

“I’ve been coming here for years and it never fails to hit the spot. The fresh, high quality, locally sourced, ingredients make all the difference and you can taste it. The pies out of the handmade pizza oven are top of the line when it comes to that classic Neapolitan style. The crust is soft and fluffy with even leoparding throughout. I always get the Margherita and the only way it could possibly be better is if they used buffalo mozzarella instead of the more common cow variety. This time around I tried the “New York” pizza which uses fontinella and fontina. I will admit this particular pie was relatively bland compared to the Margherita. I won’t be getting that one again but it was worth a shot. As for the other items on the menu the chili-kissed garlic knots are sublime and the wings are ethereal. Sometimes we come and only order two plates of wings and no pizza. They’re that good. These guys are free range, antibiotic free, and local from Buttonwood Farms. They’re brined in house and fried to order in beef tallow which provides a level of depth and umami that you won’t find in an average wing - 9.4/10 clucks. My favorite sauce is the pineapple habanero that I enjoy on the side as to allow for an unadulterated, sauceless, bite when I please. Overall I couldn’t recommend Pizzeoli enough. Every friend I’ve brought here over the years has enjoyed it as much as I have.”

Olivette Diner

Closed until 07:00 AM

9638 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132, United States

“Traditional little diner. We arrived for lunch and the place was very busy. I couldn’t pass on ordering breakfast for lunch. I got 2 buttermilk pancakes and I added two scrambled eggs. Very efficient place. I noticed the flow and it’s impressive. Our food was delivered nice and hot. Everything tasted good. *** Cash only, no credit cards accepted The diner is in a large strip mall so there’s plenty of parking.”

Frazer's Restaurant & Lounge

1811 Pestalozzi St, St. Louis, MO 63118, United States

“The food is good but the cocktails are the most creative I have ever seen. Their cocktail menu might have more choices than the food menu. Our service was slow. But that might have been because they dropped my wife's salmon on the floor. On the other hand we had plenty of time to chat. You should check it out.”

“Loved the whole experience of dining here, the service was phenomenal. It was very packed and I was hoping to seat in the more intimate quiet section but also loved the energy of the place on a Thursday night. We got a bunch of things, there was the Thursday spaghetti special and it was a huge plate that was enough for 2 people, the noodles were good but I didn’t care for the sauce. The meatballs were delicious but the short rib didn’t really pair well with the marinara. I also got the 12oz wood grilled ribeye and while it was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well, about a third of it was fat so couldn’t really eat. Also, definitely try some oysters, our server recommended the east coast ones for their milder, less fishy flavour and it was amazingly fresh and the accompaniments paired perfectly. Don’t skip the dessert either as they have a pastry chef on deck. I thought the chocolate hazelnut tiramisu was off the charts, it was so rich and decadent and just smacked you in the face with coffee and chocolate. My husband loved the apple cider cake, it was fresh and the salted cream and pomegranates added a complex note to it.”

Taco Buddha

“I tried out Taco Buddha in University City for the first time. The tacos were good-sized and filled with toppings. They were messy to eat. Also, experienced the Street corn, which was my favorite of the things I tried today. The Baja taco had an excellent crisp bite to it, but the Taos felt a little dry for my tastes.”

Barred Owl Butcher & Table

47 E Broadway, Columbia, MO 65203, United States

“This place is a must try for an impressive dinner. My husband and I have been traveling for a few weeks and based on previous reviews decided to check out the restaurant. It was a perfect meal from beginning to end! Firstly, our waitress Chelsea was really great, friendly and attentive. We started with the pimento cheese and fried gnocchi, both so warm and delicious. I had the pork and my husband had the steak, both were cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. We ended up sharing the carrot cake, HIGHLY recommend, it was absolutely fantastic. Thank you Barred Owl Butcher for a wonderful evening out and a perfect fall meal. We left so happy and full!”
