“This place came highly recommended from a friend. Overall I enjoyed it and had a good lunch here. For the price, I think it is very lunch experience with an awesome view from the 30th floor. They have a few lunch sets you can choose from with different price point. I personally enjoyed “No. 2 set” the most. It is a tad more expensive but I was able to taste the difference in meat quality. Not a day and night difference, but I did appreciate the better quality beef. I also tried “No. 1 set” which is slightly cheaper. Still good value and the quality of the beef is not a huge gap between these two sets. Could not get the seating beside the window, where you could face the view directly while enjoying your lunch. Instead, got the table seating, however, it did not degrade the lunch experience I had. Have included two photos, one photo shows the seating at window side, and another photo shows table seating (slightly further from window) to give you an idea of the difference in view-experience. I later observed that the restaurant will “try” to seat single-person lunch goers at the window seating. That is my guess. Which is a very considerate touch. I have travelled by myself numerous times, and if I was travelling alone, then I would really appreciate the window view to enjoy my meal, since I don’t have a friend to chat with. So if you are travelling by yourself, my guess is that you might get a slightly better chance at window side seating here - but please take that with a grain of salt. Cheers!”

“[Aug 31, 2023] Best dinner we had in Japan! We made reservations online in advance. We selected a 150g wagyu course and after that plus drinks our total was 40,000 yen, so quite a lot. But it was a really fun experience. Without spoiling a lot… make sure you are physically able to go through tight spaces and stairs. Entering the restaurant was a small maze but super fun! Every single course we got there was some kind of show, even the drinks. We even got a personal magic show during dessert. There is a Photo Booth at the end too with tons of fun props. We enjoyed this dinner so much as a couple, they really put a lot of effort in the whole restaurant and every single meal. I would think kids would enjoy this just as much or more!! We got our own Japanese style private room too. The waitress and all the other staff speak English as well. If we come back to Tokyo, no doubt we will give them another visit. Worth every yen!”

“I was so, so satisfied. The atmosphere, service and taste are all the best!! There is also a Korean menu I like big eel rice bowl My husband ordered finely chopped eel rice bowl. The cucumber salad comes out right away, and it's refreshing and savory whets up your appetite a little. Soft eel, not too salty or too sweet, just right!!! fit source Clear clam soup It's perfect You can use the restroom in Jongno with a printed QR code. So it is well maintained. qr code paper is given at the store”

Motodane

6 Chome-25-4 Tsukiji, Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0045, Japan

“Motodane is a family-run sushi workshop located in a small alley near the famous Tsukiji Market in Tokyo, Japan. It is highly popular among the locals, as evidenced by the long queues forming 20 minutes before the doors even open. The seating inside is limited, and the establishment is managed by a family who runs the place with great organization and tranquility, allowing guests to peacefully enjoy their sushi. Due to its inconspicuous storefront, most of the customers are middle-aged individuals over 50. Couples often choose to order some sake and engage in conversations while savoring their sushi, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The prices of the food are also very reasonable and affordable. In summary, if you're looking to experience authentic Japanese family-style sushi in a workshop setting, Motodane is definitely a worthwhile choice to visit.”

Japan, 〒106-0032 Tokyo, Minato City, Roppongi, 5 Chome−9−17 藤森ビル

“This restaurant was one of the highlights of our time in Japan. Be sure to make a reservation, as they turned down many walk-ins on weekdays. Watching the chef barbecue the orders was an enjoyable experience, although your clothes might retain the smell afterward, it's worth the visit. Every dish we ordered was amazing; we wished we had room for more. I highly recommend this place!”

Sushi Ginza Onodera - Souhonten

Japan, 〒104-0061 Tokyo, Chuo City, Ginza, 5 Chome−14−14 サンリット銀座ビルIII 2F

“Three years ago, I used to go once every one or two months, but since the coronavirus pandemic eased, the number of foreigners has increased, so it's become harder to make reservations, and the quality, size, and taste of the ingredients have declined. . terrible. I can't select the 5,500 yen course on Table Check. The 8,800 yen course is available for Saturday and Sunday lunch on Table Check, but Tabelog says - and I can't make a reservation. Ever since I started doing conveyor belt sushi, things have gotten a bit weird. It's a shame because I go there every year to eat tuna for the first time, and I've brought and introduced many people to this restaurant. It has become a restaurant that values new foreigners more than regulars lol If I'm going to go for an 8,800 yen course, I'll go to another restaurant that has better food... The additional recommended toro taku is almost 3000 yen so be careful lol”

“Lunch is a great deal! The staff at the hall are all experienced and efficient, and the turnover is quick even when it's crowded. Hamburgers are cheap and delicious, but steak is also delicious!”

Kaenzan Lanzhou Lamian

“The noodle dishes and side options here are delicious!! You can get handmade Lanzhou noodles, noodle soup or cold noodle dishes. Get the lamb skewers if you like lamb! The cucumber salad dish is the best I've had of this kind of cucumber dish so that is a must as well. The atmosphere here can get a bit noisy due to the layout of the restaurant. This place is more ideal for a no-frills meal.”

I thoroughly enjoyed it, the atmosphere was relaxed and the flavors were amazing. Best sushi I had during my trip! Highly highly recommend”
