“We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration at the Donny’s Glidden Lodge Restaurant! I particularly loved my artichoke dip with pita chips, the New England style clam chowder, and a 12 oz tenderloin perfectly prepared, with red potatoes and green beans! The appetizer was large enough to share between four people. Our server, Joann, was very attentive and we had a window table with a beautiful view of the Lake Michigan shore. ❤️”

“Visited several evenings- dine in and take out. Good chicken, pizza, burgers and fries. The Walleye Bobbers disappointed this trip. Still good, but much smaller pieces. They used to be big thick chunks of fillets. Not this time. Amber provided excellent service. Friendly and attentive. Good place for locals and visitors.”

“Unpretentious classic Wisconsin Super Club serving traditional German fare. Visited on a Saturday evening around 6:30. The parking lot and restaurant were full, and we had a about a 1 hour wait for a table. Waiting at the Dorf Haus is fantastic as you can belly up to thr bar and enjoy a cocktail (nothing beats a Brandy Old Fashioned) or enjoy 1 of several in tap German Beers. Saturday night special is Prime Rib, although I had the German Sausage Platter. The platter was phenomenal with a crisp Knackwurst and wonderfully "hammy" pork hock. A definite visit if you are in northern Dane County.”

“AMAZING!!!! We’re from out of state and wanted to try some of the local food. Found this place and seen some pictures of the pizza and had to try. Ordered the gem city supreme and was blown away. The large was around $34 with tax. The amount of pizza you get for that is unreal. The pizza was amazing. The crust was super crispy. The sauce was very flavorful. It was extremely cheesy and delicious. I have payed way more for a lot less pizza. The only thing about this pizza I would have changed is I would have let it cook a few more minutes. Most of the peppers and onions on top were still crunchy and a little under cooked but other than that hands down best pizza I’ve ever had. I just wish I wasn’t 4 states away.”

“This place is nothing short of amazing. We took a chance tonight and visited for our first time for my birthday. We love German food and usually frequent Mader’s in Milwaukee, this place is SO much better. The food, the atmosphere, the prices, the service, everything. Our server Avanti was extremely sweet, and all of the staff were so attentive. Every few minutes someone visited the table to make sure we didn’t need refills, to take plates, etc. You can tell this is a family run establishment, the staff were nice to each other in passing, saying “I appreciate you”/“thank you”/etc. It was such a nice environment. The free parking lot is a plus, and the prices for the portion sizes and food quality are great!! We ordered one appetizer and they brought out a bunch of extra goodies that were on the house! Since it was my birthday, they also brought out a dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday. We plan to come back, this place is such a hidden gem in Kenosha ❤️ thank you for such great service tonight!”
