This was the first time my business partner and I held our Christmas party here... again food (and drinks) were fantastic, service was fantastic, however again, the venue was just okay. This is my first appraisal of Lewnes' 1) food=100%; service=100%; and atmosphere/venue=85%”

“My girlfriends took me gear for my birthday. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the service is top tier and the Chef Cindy Wolf offers delicious menu. The service was stellar and everyone on the team worked together to make sure each guest had a great dining experience. Our head waiter was fabulous and knew the menu very well. The portions are just right and the menu is not extensive but still offered a variety flavors. My favorite dish is the VERMONT GOAT CHEESE AGNOLOTTI! The flavors were perfect! I also loved the purple haze cheese that was served between dinner and dessert. I would absolutely suggest experiencing Charleston.”

“I haven’t enjoyed a restaurant experience in such a while as much as I enjoyed my dinner here tonight. I can’t attest fo the cocktails, but all of the food was so good. The Southern egg rolls and sauce were such a great take on egg rolls and were very tasty. The pulled pork was juicy and cooked perfectly. Antonio; our waiter was on top of bringing us what we need before we even needed to ask. Think I found a new staple place to go to”

“I would rate 6 stars if I could. The sausage is 100% house-made and NOT pre-mixed from wholesale food suppliers (which I hate). This is the first BBQ place in the DMV area I've eaten at that was actually any good. This is GREAT. Love the Wagyu brisket, the corn salsa, and the mac and cheese”

“MY FAVORITE SUSHI RESTAURANT IN BALTIMORE ❤️❤️❤️ I got the sushi appetizer, dragon roll, and salmon roll. I love this place because the fish is fresh and decent tasting for the cheap prices. The prices are SO CHEAP. Like I never heard of $12-13 rolls until I went to Yama Sushi 😮 I would say dragon roll had smaller pieces of eel than I am used to in my dragon rolls but for the price I completely understand and think the amount of eel is fair. I love their salmon the best tho. I wish they have salmon sushi appetizer which would be 7-8 salmon sushi 😆 Their tuna and other fish are not bad for the price too. I want to emphasize that you should not expect high quality sushi here. But if you wanna eat decent sushi until you are full without breaking your wallet, this is the place 😍”

“Stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon. Had not been before. We started off with some soup. I had the potato leek and the wife had the broccoli and cheese. Both were very good. The leek was not overbearing. Next we tried the boom boom shrimp. It was fried shrimp with a nice sauce. Not the best I've ever had but pretty darn good. For our entrees, we had the steak boxty and the seafood boxty. The wife loved her steak and the seafood was pretty good. I would have liked the potato pancake to be cooked just a bit more. For dessert we had the bread pudding. It was said to be made at the restaurant. I was a bit disappointed. The top was cold and the bottom was like warm. It's consistency was a bit on the soggy side. Not my favorite. Service was very good. Jillian was our server. She was very friendly and attentive. She made the experience very pleasant.”

“It's small, the door is camouflaged bc I walked around 2Xs trying to get in. Plenty of windows for someone to own for me. Definitely a diner vibe, busy, you can see the staff cooking and they seemed to work on harmony without taking long to juggle carry out and attending to the customers inside. The bar area is a lil tight but Definitely satisfying af.”
