“Been in the area almost 6 years and I finally made it to Mack’s! It’s a small, old school diner but very popular. We walked in to a pretty decent line and customers came in consistently while we ate. I can say that we did not wait long at all. We ordered the cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger and the both were really good! I’ll have to go back to try the chili dogs next. No complaints on service either.”

Oscar the owner and his team gave us a great experience and were very hospitable. You owe it to yourself to stop in and enjoy what they have to offer. “Search the weather has been cooling down we wanted warm comfort food. We had seen the short rib and mashed potatoes. ion the menu previously and friends of ours have had it and said it was wonderful. My wife and I both got the same dish and while it tasted good it was severely over salted. We believe that possibly it was seasoned twice by mistake. We also shared a bottle of wine, which made it better! :) For dessert, we got the apple caramel cheesecake which was divine. The over seasoning will not deter us from coming back in the future. However, that is the reason that I only gave four stars. The service was excellent.”

“Food was absolutely outstanding. Came around lunch time which was rather busy at the time. Decided to sit outaide on the nice day and although it was very busy the service was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I had the tango roll and the shrimp/steak hibachi lunch both were great. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.”

“This was my first visit to Cru and I was not disappointed. Before I forget, Emily was our server and she was great. She was extremely attentive and engaging and readily answered any questions we had for her. I read the reviews about what to try and went with the fried green tomatoes with pork belly and feta and these were amazing. The pork belly was delicious and the tomatoes were cut thin so they were extra crispy. We also split the Chinese chicken salad. This was good but I don’t know if I would order that again. It’s kind of a standard Chinese cole slaw flavor. For my main at lunch I went with the Italian and it was great too. It comes with a massive side of shoe string fries that are extra crispy. The sandwich had great flavor and was delicious. You could easily share this for lunch and be satisfied. I ended up taking the other half home. That being said, this is going to be on my regular rotation now. The food and service was just awesome.”

“There’s no better place to celebrate a milestone, the Brentwood really makes you feel special! from signs and confetti on the table to staff coming over to wish you a happy birthday or happy anniversary.. this used to just be our special occasion go to but after having so much fun with Annette as our server, and meeting Chef Steve, we are eager to return just for happy hour! The food is everything you’d hope for from a French restaurant and their cocktails rock. Had the most amazing chocolate soufflé for desert with sauces to make your mouth water. 10/10.”

“I visited Brick Street Cafe this past Friday while in Greenville,SC for lunch. I had the vegetable quiche and it was fair. It had been over baked and almost cool when served. They are known for their cakes and tried their sweet potato cupcake. It was delicious. So yes for the cake!”
