Parilya
4.3
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 11:00 AM

City di Mare Visitor Center, IL Corso, Cebu South Coastal Rd, Lungsod ng Cebu, Philippines

“Parilya is a must-visit restaurant, especially for a delightful evening dining experience. The captivating view of the surrounding lights from nearby establishments and the beautiful lighthouse at Il Corso adds to the enchanting ambiance. Though we couldn't get a table inside due to the crowd, dining al fresco turned out to be a pleasant surprise for my post-birthday celebration. The staff's attentiveness was impressive; they were always just a call away when needed. I can imagine that lunch at Parilya would be equally enjoyable with its location right across the sea. I highly recommend this restaurant and gladly give it a perfect 5/5 rating.”

Soban Korean Restaurant
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 10:00 AM

Sacred Heart, Real St, Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, Philippines

“The Korean food I eat in the Philippines is especially delicious (*This is my personal opinion). I thought there would be a lot of foreign customers, but when I entered, everyone except me was Filipino, and after that, more Filipino customers came in and the place was full (the Filipino people who went home because it was full) Apparently there were some customers.) The taste feels like it has been adapted for Filipinos and is different from the authentic Korean one (the soup is lukewarm instead of piping hot (I've heard that Westerners don't like hot ramen soup). However, it may be the same for Filipinos), the seasoning ingredients themselves were different, and the free chijimi was quite crispy, but it was delicious.) One of the best foods I have ever eaten in the Philippines during my trip to the Philippines. I feel the taste of the foods were arranged to the local Filipino taste but they are tasty :) When I ate there, there were many Filipino people. I felt this restaurant is loved by the local people. (I am sorry to say but many of local Filipino food are not to my taste. I really love Thai, Indian and Vietnamese food and I like some Korean food but I don't like Japanese and Filipino food so much... ) (*I am Japanese but I don't think Japanese food is tasty so much except for some very famous and expensive dishes such as Sushi, Tempura, Wagu beef, Sashimi(raw-fish), which even ordinary Japanese people cannot afford to eat so often.)”
