“Definitely the best place to eat if you’re in this part of the city. The food is amazing, really good quality and nicely balanced. The staff’s politeness and on point service is the best I’ve experienced in Istanbul. Since it’s a family run restaurant, you really see and feel how they are trying around every guest. I came a few times during my stay and each time they also give you some appetizers on the house to try. P.S. it’s on the first floor (you have to take some 5/6 steps on the side to access their terrace) so don’t mistake them for the restaurant on the ground floor!”

“It's a pizzeria, and suppose the best dish is a pizza. But unfortunately, gamberi Pizza was just OK. Just a few dry shrimps and 3 mussels. Other pizza (special one and the most expensive))) was good. Service was good, garson even cared about our option ( plus to them). But still for such prices size of the pizza can be bigger and taste reacher. Unfortunately, we will not come here for pizza again”

“We were seated at a the roof terrace. Loved the ambience. The restaurant is located in a historical building which houses a hammam (Turkish bath) with a courtyard. The layout of the whole place is interesting. The food was amazing and service was good. The price was reasonable for the food, but I found the drinks were a bit on the high side. Overall a great experience!”

This place is definitely worth the visit and the trek to the hotel. The food changes regularly, which keeps things interesting. It was also really neat to take a tour of the kitchen! “Frontiere at Bebek consistently exceeds expectations, and my third visit was no exception. The service, particularly from Aykut and Özkan, is a standout. They remembered us from a year ago, arranged a child-friendly table, and Aykut's menu suggestions were spot on. The Pekinese Duck, Chicken Shish, and Turkish Fillet Kebab Iskender were deliciously prepared and creatively presented. The kids loved the Butcher’s Meatballs and Frontiere Avangart Burger. We also appreciated the selection of local wines and tasty appetizers like Crispy Duck Spring Rolls, Falafel, and Fried Octopus. Frontiere's unique charm lies in its delicious food, comfortable setting, and especially the warm hospitality of the crew. Their personal touch made our dining experience truly special. We can't wait to return. Thanks, Aykut and Özkan for making our visit so memorable.”

“I was recommended to dine here by a friend who had visited Istanbul some time ago. It’s a restaurant that involves selecting 5 options out of many vegan and vegetarian Turkish home style food. At the time I visited, it cost me 160 Turkish lira. You have to order first and then they come to your table to serve you the plate. Portion size was decent, but did left me full. I had stuffed bell peppers/dolma, mercimek koftesi (lentil balls), beans, okra, and bulgur. The food tasted good. Comes with bread. Seating is limited, with outdoor and indoor seating spaces. The restaurant is tucked in a vibrant part of the area.”
