“Congratulation to the chef, the food was really great! The only sad side was the service, no attention to the Guests, no asking to drink an Apéro when arriving, not minded for the first 10 to 15 minutes. The water to drink always had to be requested, since they didn‘t left the bottles on the table. We would have consumed much more but felt like we are a disturbing factor.”

“La Cène en un mot: divin! 5* + 1* (bonus) ❤ Update: 10 years la Cène. Happy birthday! The staff seems proud of this achievement and they should. It's only the second time I've been here but I really hope La Cène stays around for many more years because... it's just amazing. The best food I've ever had, even better than last time. You can literally see the chef and his crew put their passion into your plate, like artists. Impressive. And so is the rest of the team. Friendly, attentive, not some stiff people in monkey suits but just a kind, welcoming lady and gents. I have to admit that it's not a cheap place to go but I truly believe it's worth every Swiss franc. So if you want to celebrate something or you just want to treat yourself with fine food, then definitely try La Cène. By the way, ever heard of the concept of 'pre-dessert'? I let you experience for yourself. Update 14.10.2022 "La Chasse": Once more the chef and the whole team made sure we had a superb night. Service top and the culinary creations are just amazing. “Service is mostly friendly, but food is a bit overpriced and our table for lunch was completely overrun by flies - not just 4 or 5 - but like 15 or 20 flies. Also - they wouldn’t take our credit card because their machine “wasn’t working” - but they said debit was fine… pretty sure that’s the same machine.”
