“The original place we intended to go to was having renovations done. This place was suggested. We entered and was greeted warmly I requested a window seat, the host said she like widow seat too. She offered us water. Our waitress came up she was pleasant and patient with us seeing it was our first time. We finally ordered got our meal and everything was good I must say. The steak tips were cooked perfectly chicken parmigiana with risotto was really good. The chicken in the Tuscano can pasta could use a bit more seasoning. I think they should offer the Tuscano wedge with the Gorgonzola dressing on the side. It was a bit overpowering. Other than that simply delicious and filling.”

“Such a lovely space and meal. The restaurant is stunning with large windows all around overlooking the adjacent marsh. We had to wait shortly, but there was ample space and seating for us at the bar or entryway. The Local Day Boat Scallops, with asparagus, mushrooms, and ravioli, was an incredible meal. I savored every bite!”

“My husband took me for my birthday dinner on our weekend getaway from NYC. He tried everything he could before our arrival to make it special , noting it was a birthday, explaining we were coming in from NYC and requesting if possible to get a table with a view, now I have been a GM of Restaurants in NYC for 20 years and I realize not all requests can be accommodated, but The Red Inn went out of its way to not accommodate any requests all night long . Horrible table slammed against a wall in a hallway space, and slow inattentive service. When we asked if we could substitute something based on an allergy we were told no substitutions, okay fine can it just be left off then . to which, with a huff, the server said yes … of course when it comes to the table it’s not correct and when we stopped the server , instead of taking it away and correcting it he simply said I ordered it without it and walked away …. Everything else just went downhill from there and ruined what should have been a lovely evening…. Yes the manager eventually did the right thing, after I went to speak to him, he comped the meal and the server came with a dessert which I couldn’t eat because of a nut allergy and said … it’s a full comp and we never saw him again …. I have never really been a fan of The Red Inn in the past but I understand sometimes it’s just and off night … but this might be one of the worse fining experiences I have had while in vacation anywhere .”

“The blueberry pancakes were SO fresh - we got them at the end of summer. They did not skimp on the blueberries! My husband got the lobster Benedict and it was definitely good, but not outstanding like the pancakes. Wait staff was friendly and helpful! Definitely was a little more expensive than we would’ve liked.”

“Very cute, but small, indoor seating area. The outside seating area is beautiful! You can tell they are a bit short staffed, but our server was great and he was training someone at the same time. Food came out quickly and was really good. Would return :)”

“To start, both the Oyster Company and the Pub Next Door are so clean, very clearly loved by the owner and staff. The service was excellent! The food, there are not enough words to explain how fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious everything was!! The owner who is ever present is so friendly and inviting. Our experience at the Oyster Company is worth going back any time we visit Cape Cod!!! A total must eat!!!”

“The food was excellent! The lobster chowder was wow, the oysters incredibly fresh and one of the meatier I have had. The tuna tartare was really fresh and good, although it needed a little splash of salt, in my opinion, but that was an easy fix. The cod, shrimp, scallop fettuccine, and the crab-stuffed filet mignon were outstanding. The portions are substantial, and we brought some fettuccine home. Definitely make a reservation if you are visiting during the summer. We just showed up to try our luck on a Wednesday evening this past July, and we had to wait about 1 hour to sit in the bar.”
