“Ma Harper’s Gumbo is always delicious. It is very tasty and flavorful. Cornbread is moist and good. Fried pork chop is a good size. It’s was not dry it was moist cook to perfection. Service is great. Atmosphere is very welcoming. Ma Harper always greets us with her smile and makes us laugh. She is a kind hearted person.”

The staff is friendly and accommodating, the appetizers and salads were delicious and steaks cooked to perfection! This is the first time we shared the 40oz porterhouse and it did not disappoint! Make sure to make reservations and bring an appetite!”

“We waited about 15 minutes for a table that was open and we could clearly see was open, that was odd. The food was AMAZING. The marinara is very good, the fried mozzarella was good, the fried ravioli was very good. The Stromboli though, AMAZING!!!!! It was massive and so tasty! I'd definitely go back just for that and share it with someone. The service wasn't great, we had 3 different people helping us, again, odd. But I had fun with my friends and the food was amazing! Oh the bread they give you before the meal, ordinary... and why give us butter in littler plastic packages? They should really give oil and herbs like most Italian restaurants. Very average.”

“My wife and I were so impressed with this place. It was amazing service thanks to Abel he was on top of everything. He would bring us our drinks without us having to ask, he would check in on us at the perfect time ( what I mean by that is he would look at us before walking over to make sure he wasn’t interrupting a important conversation) he was just amazing all the way around. The food was so good that we ate all of our appetizer and meals (chefs kiss). Overall this atmosphere was very intimate and comfortable. Truly amazing through and through. We will definitely be back and we will ask for Abel again!!! Thanks Caparelli’s for that amazing experience!!!”

“The food was good. Not the best, but by far not the worst. The food price was also a bit high for the yield. When asked if a club sandwich could be made, the answer was "Not today, that's one of our specials." Why would you turn down money today? The dine-in area also wasn't clean and was fairly run-down looking. We ate there and wiped down our own table. No tables were cleaned the entire time we were there even though there was a staff of at least five behind the counter. I would understand if they were busy, they weren't. There were water damaged ceiling tiles and mismatched table and chairs modified by PVC and napkins. The floors and baseboards also were obviously not cleaned. There were food scraps and thick dust visible from several feet away. I would like to try again once they have some time to address some of these flaws.”

All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming, such a pleasure to come here, especially Wednesdays and Thursdays - open mic and jazz nights respectively. I love that there are two menu options now. Kent and his team are fabulous! The Dakota Ice house is the jewel of our neighborhood.”

“My family and I love pizza very much. Whenever you find the right pizza spot you usually stick to it but there is something special about stepping out and experiencing different pizzas. We stepped out and found some good pizza but one of the things about pizza is not just the food. It's the experience. The food was good but the atmosphere was horrible. The gentleman running the cashier immediately made us feel like he did not want to be there nor did he want us there. To make matters even worse the way he was acting infected everyone including the other customers. It seemed like there was a very dark cloud in this place. Even if the food is good it's a very uncomfortable atmosphere Cherry I hope this review will help turn things around. This place has the potential to be much greater but it means life and joy. With that being said give their Pizza a shot.”
