“This is maybe the best restaurant in New Orleans. It has not quite 10 tables. Chef Brigtsen comes around to greet diners. The food is awesome. I had the seafood platter...not at all what you think it is. There was a filet of redfish topped with shrimp. There was an oyster with spinach. There were 2 scallops prepared differently. There was shrimp cornbread. Oy! My companion had sheepshead that she said was delicious. For dessert we had king cake bread pudding. Oy again!”

“We stopped for a day in Metairie on our way back from a Gulf Shores trip. We ate dinner here and I just cannot think of any Italian restaurant that I have ever eaten at that tested this good. I know that you're probably thinking, "yeah but all American Italian restaurants pretty much taste the same". Not this one. I got the meal that it is chicken parm & eggplant parm for when you can't choose which parm you want. It was so freaking delicious. Even my side salad was amazing and they make all their own dressings! I got honey mustard & it was fantastic. All of the other meals we got were super delicious and everyone was more than satisfied, which is rare. The staff was incredibly friendly. Even their iced tea was really good. I know that sounds silly, but we just thought everything was so great. I wish I didnt live so far away so I could eat here every week. Definitely will be back when we come to Metairie again. 😊”

“Visited for lunch with friends on a Saturday. Quickly seated, no reservation required. Good service. It y first visit. The Mediterranean Shrimp pasta was delicious amd a new favorite of mine...very tasty, a little kick, but not overwhelming spices. I would definitely return just to order again. The size of the meatballs served was huge. One of my friends ( very Italian) had been there before and returned for the spaghetti and meatballs, which she said was delicious as well. Other orders included roast beef poboy with lots of debris gravy and Mediterranean salad. Everyone enjoyed their meals.”

“It had been years since I had been here. Was nicer before. We almost left without ordering but we were hungry. Everyone got a burger and fries and enjoyed but I had the philly cheesesteak. It wasn't very good. Should have had a burger. Place seemed dirty and not welcoming to new comers. The highlight of visiting was a broken pool table which allowed us to play for free.”
