One of the standout features of Another Hound is the innovative menu, boasting an enticing selection of dishes that incorporate traditional Thai flavors with a refreshing twist. It was a true delight to explore the fusion creations that the chef had expertly prepared. From the moment I took my first bite, it was evident that careful thought and craftsmanship went into every dish. The only minor drawback during my visit was the slightly higher price point. However, considering the quality of the ingredients used and the exquisite culinary execution, it is understandable. Another Hound in Siam Paragon delivers an experience that is well worth the occasional splurge.”

“Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and no regrets going in. We were served immediately and treated like honoured guest by the boss. First up, we got 2 items from the grilled section. The grilled pork shoulder and the grilled chicken. The pork was fantastic, slightly charred to bring out its flavour and eating it together with onions and their home made Japanese Thai dip is perfect. The grilled chicken was just normal, meat was tough and slightly dry even though it’s thigh meat. Next up, we ordered the Fukuoka traditional Wagyu stomach soup. The soup base and vegetables were nice but we couldn’t really appreciate the Wagyu stomach, felt like we were eating rubber, very stretchy and springy. If you like this texture and have the teeth to chew then go for it. It’s good nevertheless. For mains, we got the standard Bara Chirashi Don. Quite ordinary, not bad but nothing out of this world. Another item we ordered was the salmon sushi roll (without rice). This one was not good at all. The feel and texture was off, too lumpy and soft and the big chucks of ginger inside took away all the taste of the rest of this dish. Overall still fully satisfied with this standard Japanese meal. No frills and fuss free and importantly nice comfortable chill atmosphere for dinner.”

“Haha! Another Michelin restaurant I felt terrible. This was definitely the worst Khao Soi I ever had in Bangkok, and this was the most expensive Khao Soi I had in Bangkok! Isn’t it ridiculous? Where was the courage of the restaurant came from? Trust me, if you like Khao Soi, never come here.”

“Update as of 2023: the restaurant continues to impress. The new country risotto with escargot is a delightful combination of flavours, reminding me of the forests of Umbria although the inspiration came from the forests of Sardinia. Second time round with the lemon tart. This time I enjoyed it more! Lemon tart zestily good 🤗. A soulful fine-dining experience with the right amount of zest and sophistication. My critical review: Ambience 5/5: The dining room sits in a renovated old house with a large tree enclosed in the middle. At one end the open kitchen is a wonder for all to see. Where I sat, the table overlooked a manicured garden, lit at night. The space is simply beautiful. Menu 5/5: surprisingly very extensive Food 4/5 (5 being Michelin 2-3 stars): Beautiful presented as works of art, fine ingredients perfectly prepared, and delicate flavours make the dishes very enjoyable. (See review in photo captions) Service 5/5: Warm, friendly, passionate, eager and efficient, from the Chef, restaurant manager and other staff - a service par excellence. Value 4/5: Given the generous portions e.g. truffles, the value here is very fair. I paid 2,500 baht for 3 course meal.”

“Christmas buffet dinner! We used a reservation app. Everyone enjoyed their lobster and a crack at their made to order area. The chicken kebab was phenomenal. The desserts were assorted with a delicious Christmas cake. The waiters were excellent and attentive. We will keep an eye out for discounted meals in the future and will be back.”

“The meat quality was good but not excellence. Tampura sald is on standard. Maki roll was not impressived. The service should be improved. We have to wait every time to call for something. The cockroach ran from under table to our plate. We informed the staff and they asked where is it without an effort to apologize us We paid 3,000+ baht for this meal. Comparing the value received in turn with the food, service, and hygiene. I’d not recommend.”
